Mine is crazy! I met a girl online in 2000. I lived in Colorado, she lived in the South. We were madly in love within a month, it was wild. So, a few months later, I flew her out to see me. We both cried like babies when she left. A couple of months later, I went to see her, and I actually asked her to marry me (she said yes). At the time, I felt she was just everything I needed and wanted in another person (and she was just THE most beautiful girl ever).

Our problems? 1, she was 8 years younger than me, and not as established in many aspects of life like I was. But our BIGGEST problem was her parents, who were complete and total RACISTS. We managed to stay together (long-distance) for a year, and I was even going to move to where she lived. We did break up 3 times, but always found our way back to each other. Then, the conversation came when I discovered she was cheating on me. I was totally devastated! I was SO in love with this girl. I was depressed, and my boss TOLD me to take a leave of absence from work, which I did. I didn't eat, didn't sleep--I was a wreck. I lost 40 pounds, and nearly ended up in the hospital.

But, after the darkness came the light. I learned that I will never let ANYONE make me feel like less of a person (and certainly not for something as trivial as the color of my skin, which I happen to love :)). Months later, and after some therapy, I wrote her parents a very long e-mail, telling them how they made me feel, and exactly what I thought of them. The moment I hit "send," ALL of my anger was gone. :)

She and I are actually friends today, and we're cool.

I think my worst was Missy; she went all stalker crazy after we broke up… She kept calling me at hours of the day or night professing her undying love, she’d show up almost everywhere, she slashed my tires, twice, and even broke into my apartment.

I was so pissed off at her, that I sent her a “peace offering” of a dozen long stem fish heads at one point!

We dated for about three months and she end up being my constant nightmare for almost a year. It took a restraining order and court ordered therapy to get her out my life.

Damn, Raze! Looks like we really know how to pick them! LOL. Well, at least all of THAT craziness is over.

See...that's just more reason to believe that all the shit we go through puts us one step closer to the person we are meant to be with. :)

Now i have to say that i've never had a girlfriend.... :icon_sad: so i don't think i'll be posting in this thread again..

Hmm. I've got a tie for worst breakup.

One girl I was madly in love with. She was from the US, working in Canada at the time, and eventually her time came to go back home. I prepared to go with her, quit a GREAT job working for a leader in my field, we packed up my truck and went. A few days into it I realized she didn't want me there but hadn't had the guts to be honest with me. I left in the middle of the night, drove 14 hours back home sobbing all the way. I wasn't the same for over a year. I really thought she was the one.

The other crazy breakup was a woman 13 years older than me. We worked together, so when I realized she was psychotic, I had to quit my job there. It wasn't this that was hard, it was when she started stalking me, calling me to ask why I wasn't home, threatening to have people beat the crap out of me, and most irritating was the multiple times she keyed my car and slashed my tires. Needless to say I don't miss her a lot :)

Xed, that sucks! She never gave you an explanation as to why she changed her mind, or did you just not speak again?

Isn't it strange how invest SO much into our relationships, and when they fall apart, they leave us feeling naked and left with nothing? The aftermath of my break up has changed me for the better as a person.

Mine was several years ago. I met a woman who seemed to be my soulmate. We could talk for hours, the sex was great and all things pointed to a long term relationship. But, then she asked if we could go to Bermuda for the week-end. I told her I couldn't afford it and a few days later, she told me "I thought you had some money!" She then proceeded to tell me she was used to "men who own big companies, etc."

I put on my best Humphrey Bogart face and let her have it. Then, I went home and moped for weeks. :icon_cry:

Wow guys and babes :cuppp: , it is all SUCKS!!!

I hate people not caring with the others soul when they do things!!!

My first was the worst..

But it is nothing really interesting with it, I was 15 he was one year older than me, I thought we gonna stay together forever (yeah, I really did think so) but than I discovered that he wants somebody else. I was in pain for three months, cried din`t eat and stuff. But than I thought fuck him, I am so young who cares about this guy!

PS I met him the other day on the streeet and He was like Hi, wow how beautiful you are and I saw you on the cover of this and that magazine blah-blah and asked me for dinner . I said sorry but I dont have time for this.
I know I am bad but enjoyed the situation so much :icon_chai

Jonsey! Thrilled to see you back...we missed you. :)

But, that sucks ass what that chick did to you! Gold-digger! But, some women can't see past a man's wallet. You are much better without her, and I know you know that. :)

Well, it's a situation familiar to most men, I'd think. While I've done rather well for myself, I've never run into her again. Like that fellow who saw Sandra on the street. That is priceless.

Old boyfriend watching Sandra walk away: :icon_yike

And no Sandra, you're not bad. We'd all like a little payback like that. :icon_yes:
