-What was your first job?
I was fashion modeling from my age of 15-16 and right when I turned 18 I started taking my clothes off.

I live in Hungary and people dont really come up to me here that only happens in clubs. But every time Im in another country yes.

The economic crisis affects everybody of course. I am lucky as my customers are real fans who wont leave me for any reason :)
I keep very close with them and do a few new things too yes.

2) The site appears to have launched in January. Is that correct?
My site was launched in October of 2005.

3) How do most of your visitors find out about your website?
I am doing a little bit of promoting myself and my cute webmaster promotes me too also attended to a few Erotic shows all around of Europe to promote it.
And if you google my name my site comes up directly.

4) Have you done any business with any of the bigger adult companies recently? If so, talk about the experience.
I am exclusive for my website from the moment I opened it so haven't had much opportunity to cooperate with others recently.

I started it when I was 18 and its nearly 10 years now.

2.) What do you think the biggest change in the industry has been since you started? Do you think it’s for the better or worse?
Porn movies are much more to the wilder side. There are no limits these days. Surfers have such hardcore movies that they might have lost interest in regular sex scenes.
What I hear from my fans is that they start to be fed up with hardcore and they are more interested in seeing softcore again.

3.) How do you think you have changed over your own career?
Oh yes a lot. Both in sexuality and in my look too. I was such a little girl I grew up by now. My sexuality changed a lot of coure now I know what I like in bed.

4.) If you could go back and change any part of your career in adult, what would you change? Why?
I probably wouldnt change a thing I was always happy with everything I did.

10.) So far, who has been your favorite director or photographer to work with?
I am very lucky that I found my photographer who shoots the pictures and video for my sites, he is Gabor Orban. He is very easy going, always have new ideas and doing his job very well.
As for big producers I loved working with Suze Randall, Stephen Hicks and so much more.

11.) You do a lot of work behind the scenes with your sites. Do you prefer this type of work opposed to being in front of the camera?
Yes its a lot of work indeed. But I love it thats why I am still here. Its different, I like both. I dont shoot everyday so when I shoot I enjoy it a lot but I love sitting in front of the computer lets say editing pictures or videos, even promoting or just keeping touch with the fans.

12.) Do people recognize you as Sandra Shine on the street? If so, how does that make you feel?
Not many people coming up to me on the streets as people are shy but I can see many reckognises. I only got nice compliments so it makes me feel good of course :)

13.) So, now for some more personal questions about yourself! Where was the last place you went on vacation?
I am a big travel person love travelling meeting new people knowing new cultures. The last place was Egypt as I tries diving at the Red Sea, it was fabulous. This year I am visiting Berlin-Germany, Napoli-Italy, Villach-Austria, Paris-France and who knows what?

14.) Exercising. Love it or hate it?
Love it. I started going to the gym about 7 years ago and still there. I love to take classes like dance aerobic, spinning, tae-bo and even just lifting weights at the gym.

15.) What languages can you speak?
Hungarian, English and German. I forgot a lot in German but it all comes back when I am using it. I always pick up a few sentences wherever I go so I know some French, Italien, Espagnol words :)

16.) What would you do if you suddenly couldn’t connect to the internet anymore?
Don't tell me I had 2 days without connection the other day I was dying :)

17.) If you won a million dollars, but couldn’t spend it on yourself, what would you do with it?
I would give half of it to my family and the rest would be donated to a place where people save dogs life. I love animals.

Its a Friday morning woke up 2 hours ago sitting at the computer answering you naked. I like to hand around naked in the house.

-What do you have planned to do for fun this weekend?
I am visiting the lake Balaton as its a hot summer weekend so I will spend the whole weekend there I think. I recently came up with an idea of learning the sport kite and since its gonna be windy I might try it now.And besoied that maybe partying

Hungary is a nice country with lots of cultural sights and cool things to do. We have famous vines. spices, and we are knows or our beautiful girls so its definitely worths visiting here ;)
I had a usual childhood did very well at school as well as sports. I was pretty popular in high school I always organised parties and sport events. I dodnt have a lot of boyfriends only like 2 or 3 but I had some one night lovers. As for girls only lovers not real relationships.

About 5 times Visiting all around California and also Vegas twice. I loved it there.

-What are the major differences between the U.S. & Hungary?
Its all about differences :) Hungary is a small country with only 10 millions of people so the opportunities are much less. We dont have a sea but have a big sweet watered lake where everybody hangs out at summer. Its definitely a lot to see all around the country. Since its not so big you can meet new cultures and countries by driving a few hours so it has its benefits. US is so big that you need a couple of years of traveling to visit all the cool places. Most important difference that we are allowed to topless tanning here and we even have nude beaches. Cant you tell I love nude tanning? ;)

-Do people in your home town know that you are a nude model and adult star? What do they think of that?
Yes everybody knows what I am doing some doenst now exactly but they know. First they dont get the point but after getting to know me better they are even more confused :) I love that.
Since I have a good relationship with everyone their main idea of erotic models has changed to the good direction.People in Hungary still think that porn is a bad thing thats another big difference.

-Are they accepting in Hungary of pornography? Do they shoot a lot of adult movies there? Do they have adult conventions and autograph signings? Do people look down on you because of your job?
Hehe just answered some of these. They dont really accept it as a normal job, maybe its not :) Yes they shoot a lot of porn here as the models are beautiful. We have adult conventions of course but its much smaller then in the States we are more few so thats ok. I wouldnt call it looking down but just dont understand.

-Is there porn on television in Hungary? Are there adult book/movie/lingerie stores there? Is it easy to buy and rent adult movies there? Are there pirated copies available? Is the adult industry in Hungary out in the open or hidden?
Yes there are porn television channels showing lots of Hungarian pornstars. Yes we have lots of sex shops with all kinds of stuff like sexy lingeries, adult toys DVDs and all you need. Its also very easy to rent DVDs but people more buying them we have lots of table dancing bars too. The adult biz is more hidden here people are embarraced by even talking about it. But of course they like to watch it.

-How did you end up doing adult movies and magazines?
I was doing fashion modelling for years and when I turned 18 I got a casting call to a Playboy-kind shooting. I did it and I loved it so I stayed here. I only did pictures for almost 2 years and discovered that I enjoy doing videos too so I went onto that. It’s not just the actual shooting we need to do, first there comes an idea, and then I need to organize it, shoot it, edit it and post it. Of course a lot of computer works on promoting, keeping the contact with business clients, and of course the fans.
I keep very close with fans and they seem to enjoy a lot (smile) I’m starting a new idea soon too, I want to learn proper photography too. Not that I had so much free time but it interests me a lot. I think I would be a good photographer as I have good ideas and point of views so we will see. [smile]

AJ: Some people are waiting for something new in the adult industry. They are looking for something between eroticism ,pornography and art a kind of “threesome” pornography without ever crossing the gonzo line. Do you think is it possible today to work in this direction in Europe? Break all the rules we know and build new ones with another horizon, with more sensuality, sensitivity etc…? Would you agree with this?
SS: I don’t know what else is coming. It’s been shot everything in the business already.I personally don’t like rough and too much hardcore scenes. I like the eroticism shot in a nice and arsty way. I don’t know what others are waiting for and what they are planning on doing in the future but I will keep going to this direction.
That’s why it’s good to be your own boss. You can do whatever makes you feel satisfied and happy. Then you only need to cross fingers on the audience to be happy for it and ready to pay for this. Because we still need to make money at the end too.

AJ: What inspires or influences you?
SS: What inspires me? If I see a new girl with cute face, long leg or if there is even just something in her eyes I instantly say ok I want her!
I walk around in the world with open eyes and there are sometimes new shooting ideas coming to me when I’m in the gym, or doing whatever every day’s routines.
Whenever I go, I say: “oh I could do such a great scene here”. [smile]
My mind is always on producing new scenes. Some say I’m workaholic but I say it’s just enthusiasm. [smile]

AJ: When did you decide to become your own producer?
SS: When I was out in the states and did my second Penthouse Pet of the Month title, everybody wanted to get me on contract to do a website. I almost said ok for a big company. Then I was agreeing they are in the States and I‘m based in Budapest, Hungary so I had a feeling that this would have caused many problems.
So I was like if they see such a good business in me maybe I should do it on my own?!
I had no clue on anything so it was a hard time as I had to learn everything myself. I decided to learn all the parts of the business myself so I’m going to be independent that I’ve always been. I didn’t want to give this up.
For sure it went much slower but I think I managed to fulfill all my dreams and run a successful business. I now have 5 pay sites, an online store, a model agency and a crew that shoots for the biggest companies in the industry.

AJ: You launched a new website last year. Can you tell us something about your future projects?
SS: I’m planning on developing the current projects there is always a better way of doing things. I’m seriously on the photography learning project too, at the moment I’m doing a big house renovation so as soon that’s done, I will have more time to think about some other ideas. I can never sit back and say ok, this is done perfectly and we can relax. [smile]

SS: I don’t know her personally so I don’t really know much of her. I’m happy if she is on the same track that I’m. I’m keeping close with my fans, I have my public forum too where they can ask anything and I’m answering. It’s a fun community and they don’t only talk about porn or me, they just chat about whatever so it’s a fun place to spend your free time.
I also have a blog too. A free one and a member’s one where I post images and videos about my life in general.

AJ: Many people know your movies with Vivian Thomas the latest “Simply Shine” is incredibly sensual and sexy, but when will we get the chance to watch a film produced by Sandra Shine with a great story line?
SS: Honestly, I wanted to do a movie in the past but I felt like the DVD business isn’t worth on producing a big feature movie. Maybe I’m totally wrong and people would be happy to see it and pay for it. That idea is still in the drawers but who knows maybe one day I might do it [smile]

Amber Jam: You have an international reputation but for those who may not have heard of you could you tell us a little about your background?
Sandra Shine: I started modeling when I was 15, then I realised that I want something more exciting and fun so right when I turned 18 I started to take my clothes off.
I really enjoyed myself as a nude model so I stayed with it for more than 12 years now? Wow it’s a lot I guess![smile] I still enjoy what I’m doing so that’s cool.
I’m doing solo and lesbian pictures and movies and from what I can see people seem to enjoy looking at them. I enjoy making them so I guess that shows on the screen too.
Since 2005, I have my own official website SandraShineLive.com where I post everything about my every days and also hot new sex updates every week.

AJ: This is my first interview with a woman, a professional erotic model, producer, and manager maybe photographer too?! Have I missed something? How do you manage all this work every day?
SS: I enjoy answering your questions a lot so I’m not sure if you missed anything if you did drop me a mail and I’m happy to answer them later [smile] Oh yes it’s a lot of background work behind the sites I’m running but I like them too.
It’s not just the actual shooting we need to do, first there comes an idea, and then I need to organize it, shoot it, edit it and post it. Of course a lot of computer works on promoting, keeping the contact with business clients, and of course the fans.
I keep very close with fans and they seem to enjoy a lot (smile) I’m starting a new idea soon too, I want to learn proper photography too. Not that I had so much free time but it interests me a lot. I think I would be a good photographer as I have good ideas and point of views so we will see. [smile]

AJ: Some people are waiting for something new in the adult industry. They are looking for something between eroticism ,pornography and art a kind of “threesome” pornography without ever crossing the gonzo line. Do you think is it possible today to work in this direction in Europe? Break all the rules we know and build new ones with another horizon, with more sensuality, sensitivity etc…? Would you agree with this?
SS: I don’t know what else is coming. It’s been shot everything in the business already.I personally don’t like rough and too much hardcore scenes. I like the eroticism shot in a nice and arsty way. I don’t know what others are waiting for and what they are planning on doing in the future but I will keep going to this direction.
That’s why it’s good to be your own boss. You can do whatever makes you feel satisfied and happy. Then you only need to cross fingers on the audience to be happy for it and ready to pay for this. Because we still need to make money at the end too.

AJ: What inspires or influences you?
SS: What inspires me? If I see a new girl with cute face, long leg or if there is even just something in her eyes I instantly say ok I want her!
I walk around in the world with open eyes and there are sometimes new shooting ideas coming to me when I’m in the gym, or doing whatever every day’s routines.
Whenever I go, I say: “oh I could do such a great scene here”. [smile]
My mind is always on producing new scenes. Some say I’m workaholic but I say it’s just enthusiasm. [smile]

AJ: When did you decide to become your own producer?
SS: When I was out in the states and did my second Penthouse Pet of the Month title, everybody wanted to get me on contract to do a website. I almost said ok for a big company. Then I was agreeing they are in the States and I‘m based in Budapest, Hungary so I had a feeling that this would have caused many problems.
So I was like if they see such a good business in me maybe I should do it on my own?!
I had no clue on anything so it was a hard time as I had to learn everything myself. I decided to learn all the parts of the business myself so I’m going to be independent that I’ve always been. I didn’t want to give this up.
For sure it went much slower but I think I managed to fulfill all my dreams and run a successful business. I now have 5 pay sites, an online store, a model agency and a crew that shoots for the biggest companies in the industry.

AJ: You launched a new website last year. Can you tell us something about your future projects?
SS: I’m planning on developing the current projects there is always a better way of doing things. I’m seriously on the photography learning project too, at the moment I’m doing a big house renovation so as soon that’s done, I will have more time to think about some other ideas. I can never sit back and say ok, this is done perfectly and we can relax. [smile]
