Hmmm, and I didn't even know there was an 8 mm 1!

Wow, this movie had TONS of the Hungarian hotties we love! I spotted Gina B, Peaches, Sandy, Bridget, and of course, Sandra! :icon_yike :banana: :love:

As far as the film goes...um...I didn't like it (at all). I never would have rented it if I didn't know that Sandra was in it. She's awesome in it, though, wish she was in it more. Anyway, I hope this leads to more Hollywood roles for my darling! :banana:

Today's scandal is about the beautiful Hungarian celeb Zita Görög, who appears in some erotic scenes of an american film called 8mm 2 (has nothing to do with the original 8mm from '99). Zita swears she didn't know that it was an erotic thriller and she was told the DVD never comes back to Hungary (sounds pretty much like the everyday story in the porn industry :). The film features many Hungarian pornstars, like Sandra Shine, Gina B., Peaches, etc... Lesbian model Katalin Kiraly actually plays the role of a court stenographer in an erotic dream with the protagonist(Johnathon Schaech as David).

I saw the first film and though it was morally sick, the movie was actually very good. Now I've got to get my hands on the sequel!

Also, on the back cover of the dvd, there's a little itty bitty TINY picture of Sandra! In the scene, she's naked, but on the dvd cover, clothes magically appear! Whoever did that needs to get their ass kicked. :icon_chai

I'm confused because someone said this film is not related to 8mm (which I didn't see--is Nicholas Cage in it?) What was it about?
8mm was about underground snuff films (sex with unspeakable acts of violence for those who may not know what snuff films are) and Nicolas Cage's character is a private investigator hired by a woman after she finds out about her husbands extra curricular activies. It's an absolutely amazing film, but the morals of some people are just so vile and disgusting! Gothika was also a great movie, but again with the snuff film angle! However, in 8mm I was amazed by Joaquin Phoenix's performance and from then on, I looked forward to seeing him in any role.

I too read that 8mm 2 didn't have anything to do with 8mm. I think the whole 'underground' aspect (underground porn industry) is the only thing in common. I'm almost afraid to find out about the underground porn industry in regards to this film.

I was even disappointed with Sharon Stone! And I'm never disappointed with Sharon Stone - hell, I actually liked Sliver and The Quick And The Dead! But shhhhh! I'll admit to nothing later on if questioned! :icon_lol: She'll be in a movie called Cougars. Oh dear! You know how I feel about cougars!!!!

Ooo, cougars is a term for older women who are effin hot! Such as... ooh! I smell a new thead!

Okay, yeah. If you get the opportunity to see Gothika, do see it! I read they the had to edit the rape scene between Penelope Cruz and - I forgot the guy's name. Thank God! Just watching her being pulled away from the door was MORE than enough!
