OMG, I was reading the forum on this one site, and they were so stupid! They were talking about the Viv girls, which ones are straight, bi, lez, etc. Some of them were talking like they KNEW the girls. There were huge debates on whether or not Sandra is married, if Jo is a lesbian, and also if the person Stella left the business for is male of female. Who the hell cares?! I mean, she obviously found someone to make her happy. Sheesh!

Thanks for the link, Ange. I hardly ever go to Viv's site. First of all, when Viv said this, I was ROLLING: "only to be informed she has hung up her bra and nickers."

I think Stella is one of the best and the most beautiful there is. I wish her luck in all she does. Still...

This is one of the things that really pisses me off; when a woman gives up what she loves doing because the man (or woman) in her life doesn't like it. This is in no way an attack on Stella, she's been removed from the what I'm saying. How many times have we seen women (and just talking about the porn industry here) either 1. retire when they meet a guy or 2. stop working with guys when they meet a guy. Janine Lindemulder is the perfect example of this; she worked only with women because of her relationships with guys, and once they ended, she went buck wild, and is fucking guys on film all over the place! There are SO many other examples as well. It also takes a lot of the eroticsm out of it; I'd like to think that a woman only works with other women because she loves it, not because she has been asked (or perhaps even "threatened") not to work with men.

I know I'm not a porn star, okay? And, and know it's different being a porn star THEN meeting someone, rather than meeting someone first, THEN getting into the industry. I personally tire so much from hearing starlets announce their retirements or suddenly stop working with men when they meet a man. I mean, have your own independence, do you want to do. Don't let a relationship govern your career. That's always been how I've felt about this. But, as I said, I'm not in the situation, but I know myself; if I met a girl who didn't approve of my career choice and gave me an ultimatum to quit or lose her--I'd be sleeping alone.

Sorry, I just had to vent on this one.

But, again, I honestly wish Stella the best of luck.

Yeah. It may not sound like it, but I also respect Stella's decision. I mean, I'm not her, and I have no idea what she's going through. I would think it was a decision that she didn't take lightly (both times she retired). Yeah, I'll miss her too, but if she's happy, then that the most important thing. :icon_yes:

Hey Stacia, for the most part I agree with you but I can understand why a girl would want retire or take a brake from modeling if she thought she had a future with someone outside the business. I mean a girl can't model forever and I think we all want to grow old with someone we love... so while I'm sad to see Stella go I'm also very happy for her and I hope she’s found her "prince charming". :)
