As the title says, what did you do with your day?
After I got up at 6 a.m. to go into work to clean up the monkeys' cages (thats what I call the students who live in the dorms, lol!), I wrote some notes and went down to the park. I then watched the river and the afternoon sun beginning to set. I really needed that to relax.
If only someone was there with me............:icon_frow :icon_cry: :icon_frow :icon_cry:

Hi CrazyCop
Well, I woke up first.
Took my laptop and started working (still in bed)
What !!! You work in bed !!! How ???
Well, I can logon in all the maintenance systems remotely :D
I do the daily things that need to be done from my bed LOL.
Then the administration for the boss. Every monday that's the case.
Then I made breakfast and tea.
Cleaned the livingroom a bit.
Then I watch teletext for the news
Then I made coffee
Then I cleaned my car and went to my mother and brother.
Played a little while on the computer.
Then I went to the car cleaner and cleaned the car.
And then I went home.
Turned my computer on, went straight to Sandra's Diary
Then to the forum
And answered your question
I will report any exciting day for you CC:)

Hmm... Yesterday I got up, showered, shaved and had breakfast. Then I went to the hospital and hung out with Maggie for a couple of hours. Then I went to the pistol range and did some shooting. After that I had lunch and hit the driving range. After that I gave Dana a flying lesson, I don’t think her feet touched the ground until about a half hour after we landed.
Then I went home checked my e-mail and the Player’s Championship scores and read for a hour or so. Then I made myself dinner and went back to the hospital to and hung out with Maggie until the nurses told me I had leave.

before making breakfast I had a shower and shaving off course.
Otherwise it would be the same day , but with a "smelly" touch to it ...lol

Tomorrow will be your day Well, this was gym class and astronomy Mr. Sun. lol
But I did get to go to court today for my law class!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only got to see the jury selection though, then I had to go :(. It was a criminal trail (Battery and disorderly conduct).
But I was talking to a balieff before I went, and she said that another jury trial is scheduled next week. The one today was just a one day, but she said the next week one will be a 3 day one!!!!!!!
Have any of you read Hansel and Gretel? There are a lot of crimes in that story, so I'm getting bunch of Ex. credit in my law class for finding the crimes and stating what they are (I found 9 different felonies and 2 mistermenors). Other than classes and court, nothing too much happened today.

Hi CC
Wasn't Hansel and Gretel something about kidnapping , cannibalism and witchcraft? Besides eating a house.... lol
Witchcraft was a terrible crime those days you know.
Pay good attention at the court my friend. Watch, observate and learn all the tricks. :icon_roll

After falling asleep at 8 pm last night (yeah, I know I'm lame), I woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 3:30 am. I got some water, and drank the entire 20 oz bottle. I had some cereal, :icon_chew and came to the forum, where my (almost daily) morning PM from Sandra was, waiting for me to read. :) Although I did reply, I decided to send her one of my voice messages, which she says she always likes to receive. :)
Then, I got ready for work, which was a bitch today! THEN, I went to my mom's house to 1. use her printer, and 2. eat. My school counselor called me there, and we talked for well over an hour. He had to explain the school website (I'm taking online classes)
I just got home about 30 mins ago, and I have to write a paper for one of my classes b4 midnight--mind you--school JUST started yesterday! Homework already! LOL.
It's been raining ALL day today (which I loooove). I just stripped down to a t-shirt and sweats to get comfy, and I'm playing some Depeche Mode on my laptop...:icon_head
So, I should probably stop typing (well, here in the forum, at least). :icon_yes:

Yeah, we all had fun with it. Someone tried getting the Father for destruction of a forest (it wasn't HIS forest!!!!) lol. My list was:
Felonies:
1) Solicitation-----Woman-----Trying to get Father to do criminal behavior
2) Conspiracy-----Woman & Father-----Going to commit the act
3) Abondonment of child (4 counts)-----Woman and Father
4) Recklessly Endangering Life (4 counts)-----Woman & Father
5) Kidnapping-----Witch-----Locked Hansel in stable after moving him there
6) Taking Hostage-----Witch-----Got Gretel to do things while having Hansel was locked up
7) First Degree Reckless Homicide-----Gretel-----There's whats called a "cool off" phase, which she didn't have (she figured out she was gonna be killed a minute before the crime) and instead of running, she killed the Witch. Gretel didn't really plan it out, so it comes to this charge (for some of you that don't really know what it means, its the 2nd to least minimum Homicide charge)
8) Burgery-----Hansel & Gretel-----Took the jewels after a felony was committed (the Witch's death)
9) Recieving Stolen Property From a Child-----Father-----He knew it wasn't theirs
Mistermenors:
1) Destruction of Property
2) Trespassing on Property Dwelling
Oh, and the conspiracy and solicitation charges, are as bad as the crimes planned out. In my state, if the prosecution can prove you planned it out, its just as bad as doing it, even if you didn't do anything, or called the crime off.
If you guys are interested, I could say what class the crimes were and give you the minimum and max. Prison/Jail sentence and fine.
I think you guys in Europe, would be scared to do anything if you were to come to America, because the prison times on these may be a little high. LOL

Maybe you could also add:
-littering (the breadcrumb thing)
-Illegal building without a permit, not in accordance to zoning plans
-reckless endangerment: because of the dangerous structure made out of gingerbread not meeting standards of building code
....
Anyway, I'm glad to see you are all still getting a serious education on the other side of the ocean. No different here though, I have loads frivolous assignments too. In fact I think one could be: designing a house of gingerbread that does meet buildingcode-standards.:icon_roll Maybe I should suggest it.....

I scanned off a chart for the sentences of felonies. ES means, Extended Supervision. Also known as Parole.
Well, here's the list of stuff:
1) Solicitation: Class H
2) Conspiracy: Class F (since the Reckless charge is higher)
3) Abandonment of Child: Class G (4 counts)
4) Recklessly Endangering Safety: Class F (4 Counts)
5) Kidnapping: Class C
6) Taking Hostage: Class B
7) Second Degree Intentional Homicide: Class B
8) Burgery: Class F
9) Recieving Stolen Property From a Child: Class between I to G (never states how much was stolen: $500-2,500 is I, $2,500-5,000 is H, and $5,000+ is G)
The mistermenors aren't too important just a little bit of jail and a fine.
What do you guys think? Are we too harsh on this side of the ocean?

Speaking as a former police officer, yes and no... Personally I think we're two harsh on certain types of drug possession crimes but way to lenient on rapists and child molesters... Those twisted :icon_cens should never be let out… In a perfect world rape and molestation should be capital crimes (crimes punishable by the death penalty).

Personally, I opposed to legalization but I think it's a bit ridiculous that we'll toss some poor sap in jail for 25 years for drug possession when a rapist or child molester only gets 5 to 15 years.

Rehabilitation alone won't work; you have to have comprehensive interdiction, enforcement & treatment system or your just going to have a revolving door at your rehab facilities.
I'm 39, I spent most of law enforcement career investigating crimes against women and children so a have special "fondness" for rapist and child molesters. :icon_evil :icon_chai :2guns: :icon_2gun

Well, if we're talking pot here I'm pro-legalization in my country (everything other drug I'm not!), but only because right now the semi-illegal nature of it is really the only source for problems, sort of pragmatics this way (maybe a poor excuse when it comes to matters of principal though, I know).

Yes, BI1 was incredible! I saw it about 12 times in the theatre! It was then that I fell madly in lust with Sharon Stone. Plus, I loooove Michael Douglas. Hmmm...I may have to watch it now...I have the unrated version!
12 times.:icon_yike I'm sure there was one scene in particular that you really liked eh?;)
As a matter of fact I remember breaking our VCR over that scene, you know, frame by frame analysis:icon_yes: (mind you, I was about 11 at the time).
p.s. I hope BI2 doesn't contain a scene like that. Sharon Stones' 50-year punci, no thank you!:icon_wave

Good luck with your exam Cop!
I got up early too today, to watch F1 that is. I like that stuff, don't know why, just do. Then in the afternoon I read some specialist lit. to prepare for the new trimester that starts this week. Oh, and took a little nap as well, still got a bit of a cold, ugghe ugghe!:icon_frow

In the 6 hours I had to work, I only had to work about three, which rocked!!!! Me in the and the girl that was working with me, just watched TV most of the time. Our supervisior only checked on us once (I think its because he's afraid of me, lol), but thats ok. I'd rather not have him there checking over my shoulder every hour.
I took a nap after I was done with work and went out with my parents to celebrate my dad's B-Day. The drink I had is already completly wearing off, but I'm going to call someone tonight and see what they want to do. I really want to finish off my bottle of Jack that I bought. Hopefully I won't still be buzzed when I go to work at 6 tommorrow.

So, I'm laying in bed right now, I just replied to Sandra's e-mail...that's pretty much it.

Tis sunday night at the time of this post. So what did Grant do today?
I went to a band contest. Every year, we have an event called Youth Rock (http://www.youthrock.com.au), which is a competition for young artists and unsigned bands who want to be seen and heard. Most of the bands are high school kids, and there's a big variety of music styles too. It was held at a local entertainment centre that's 10 mins from my place. The tv show i help out with, (School Torque) was covering the Youth Rock event. Filming performances and getting interviews with bands to put on the show this week. This year was the third year i've been to film the event. Every year it's great. I had fun. I even scored a free cd of the 2005 event. :icon_peac Free stuff is always good.

Hi USS :)
You know, I've always thought MJ was really, really sexy. There's something that is so "odd" and kind of "wrong" about the way she looks. She's not your "typical" beauty. I think its because of that, that I find her soooo fucking sexy.
However, on the actor's commentary for Res. Evil 2, Milla and Oded Fehr were doing the commentary, and Milla just has this....AWFUL heavy-smoker's CACKLE of a laugh! OMG, it was horrifying, like the girl needed an oxygen tank or something!!! It was so bad in fact, that it turned me off from her a little.
But...I can still look at her alllll day long...<sighs>

Yesterday, I woke up at 3am to do homework, cause I knew I wouldn't be home until...today. My car is in the "el shopo," so mom came to pick me up for work. I worked allll day, then I had an interview which lasted 2 FREAKING HOURS. I took a cab home, and didn't get there till 7. I took a shower and grabbed some stuff, called a cab, and headed back to the Strip to meet my family. Then, we met up with my other brother, and ate and went bowling until 1am.
We woke up this morning, and I called and almost fell off the bed when the mechanic told me how much I have to pay to have my car fixed. Ugh. I'm at home now, a little hungover, and just pooped.

What a day, we’re both exhausted! I got up at 5:00 and made breakfast, then I woke Maggie with a kiss, served her breakfast in bed and gave her, her Easter present... She loved it! Thanks Sandra! :)
After breakfast we went to morning mass and stopped by the fire house to wish everyone there a Happy Easter. From there we went home and spent the rest spent of the day with Maggie’s mom and dad and her brothers and their families. It was a blast; the kids loved the Easter egg hunt, and we all ate way too much! Help we're stuffed. :)

What did Grant do today? (Easter Monday)
Well, i played grease monkeys with 2 friends at an auto scrapyard looking for spare parts for my friends car. I myself picked up a steering wheel for my car (yeah i know this sounds strange, but the current one is fucked, for lack of a better word.)
I bought home a nice collection of grease, dirt and grime on my clothes and i also got sunburnt on my arms, nose and the back of my neck while i was out there. :icon_frow
Then i found out that a friend of mine in the army had been involved in a car accident and was in hospital at a nearby army base. Some :icon_cens idiot ran a red light and hit him. Speeding i'd say. Details are still a bit sketchy at the moment, but he's got a broken collar bone and a few other smaller bones are broken too. I'm going to see him tomorrow with another friend.
The fact that i'm a day ahead of some people, mainly USA, means i had my easter sunday before you. I had an alright easter. Got a nice big choccie egg and my grandparents came round for a BBQ lunch. If i was really hungry, i would've eaten more than what i actually did eat. I guess i was saving room for dessert.
Did i mention that we had our main cold water pipe burst? So that meant we had no running water for the day. it's only a small leak, nothing dramatic. We can still use our water, just not very often.
Back to the current day and i find myself here.

Well i had quite a night.
I went to the club to watch the boxing match that ALL of Australia was talking about.
The Anthony Mundine vs Danny Green fight. (if anyone else's heard of it)
It was on fox (Main Event channel) so i went with a group of mates to see it.
Man, everyone was pumped to see Danny Green smash Mundine. And just as the fight was about to start, i thought a fight was gonna break out right behind me! :icon_punc Some guy was screaming obsceneties and i turned round to see 2 fellas squaring each other up. Security turned up quickly and the guy who started it was promptly taken away.
He looked like a trouble maker..
So the fight started, and went on for all 12 rounds without a KO, so the winner was decided by a points count.
Sadly, Danny Green (The Green Machine) lost and Anthony Mundine won. (He's an ex-footballer and i don't like him. He's a showpony) Needless to say, i wasn't real happy about the outcome and on my way home, i saw another fight break out in the carpark. :icon_punc I think it was more of a lover's tiff..
An eventful night indeed. :icon_yes:
