Okay, the only tv shows I watch religiously are America's Next Top Model (for Tyra Banks, and other obvious reasons) and LOST.

Does anyone else here watch these two? I'd just be tickled pink to have someone to discuss my shows with!

I have seen Lost here and there, but i don't watch it religiously.
I'll watch most shows, but only if they're good. Soapies i hate. Anything like the OC, No thanks, i can do without.
Comedies and good cartoons are my thing. With the odd crime drama thrown in.

So Stacia,

Do you have a theory about why everyone in Lost is there? The reason why I ask is my dad thinks that everyone that is on the island is dead, and everyone there is in Purgatory. (Me and my dad discuss shows and movies all the time and Lost came up)

Your thoughts (remember, go easy on me. I've never seen the show, just a few clips)?

So, Joseph, :)

Yeah, I've thought about that too, but I really have no idea. I sure can't wait to find out though, but I'm sure that'll be years from now. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying all the great twists and turns on the show. :)

The Apprentice is good, i mainly watch it to see Trump's terrible hairpiece. Lol! It looks like some dead animal.
I ALWAYS make sure i watch Scrubs, i LOVE it. Especially the Janitor, he's great.
Will and grace i used to watch, but like you said, it's finished now.
My Name is Earl is just about to start for us. I'm looking forward to it. Jason Lee is great. I've seen him in movies with Jay and Silent Bob. (Dogma, Mallrats, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back)
The Office (the British version is better) is good haven't seen too many shows of it cause it's on, then it's not, then it is.. I wish tv networks would just choose something and stick with it.
Thursday night is my best night. In order we have; American Dad, Family Guy and Scrubs.
Gotta love it. :D

i love scrubs because it's different than most sitcoms. it leaves you with a good feeling at the end of the show and it's incredibly witty.
i haven't been able to see the british version of the office, but i heard it is more vulgar than the american version.
i used to watch family guy all the time but it's on sundays over in the US and it conflicts with desperate housewives :( maybe i'll buy the dvd and watch the rest of this season.

Waiting time's over.
Whichever season of Family Guy is currently showing in Australia (season 3 i think) it is just sooooo fucking hilarious! During many episodes, i have been left in tears from laughing so much.

Yeah, the first season was pretty good, after that the show kind of jumped the shark though.Season one was good. I'm not sure which season we got up to (the one where Boscoe was recovering after getting shot or something and i think the blonde woman was going through the divorce with her husband. I don't know) but it wasn't as good as the first season. I like the way the story jumps between the cops and the ambos.

That whole bit with the guy getting "waffled"... ROFLMAO... Now that was reality. :D

Stacia,

Would you hate me if said that I'm whiter than all white and liked watching Adult Swim's The Boondocks and that my favorite character is Uncle Raucous?

I just think that is a really funny show, but it uses a lot racial jokes.

I'm guessing the concept for this was taken from an American show, but lately i've been watching a tv show called Meerkat Manor.
It's like Big Brother, but with a family of meerkats that are lead by a meerkat named Flower. Has anyone else heard of or seen this?
Ours is narrated by the guy who did the voiceovers for the Australian Big Brother series.

Aka America's Next Top Model.

Okay, so this is my guilty pleasure. I LOVE this show (go Tyra, go Tyra!) I've been watching since Cycle 1, and Cycle 7 began tonight, and they have some great girls on there! My favorite by far is Caridee...or, Caribee...or Caribou, whatever the hell her name is (the Rebecca Romijn-ish hottie). I also dig Melrose--she's hot and cool at the same time.

And...I've predicted the winner correctly of all 6 cycles, except for cycle 5--I thought Kahlen would win, but Naima (aka Naim-who?) won. My favorite winner by far though, is funky, spicy, hot as HELL sistah "Eva the diva" Pigford. I knew from the very beginning that she would win. ;)

On a side note...can someone please tell me why it's always the black girl who has the attitude?!?!? Last year it was Jade, then it was Ebony, then it was...oh, whatever her name was, the one who said, "this is my signature walk, and this is the walk that will make me famous one day," then it was Robin...geez. NOW it's both Monique and Eugena. Monique is beautiful, but I already wanna slap the hell outta that girl! <sigh>

Okay, I am at 6:1 for predicting the winner of the show. Very early in the competition, I thought that CariDee has what it takes to be the show's winner this cycle, and tonight, she won! :mbounc: The final 3 were CariDee, Melrose and Eugena. They elminated Eugena (very predictably), and Mel and CariDee faced off in a fashion show (which, Melrose excelled in). But, I knew the judges would look at all the weeks, and they did, and chose CariDee as the winner! clap_smile clap_smile clap_smile :yippee:

My favorite shows:

Smallville
Law and Order
Law and Order: SVU
Shark
CSI
CSI: Miami
CSI: New York
Justice
Family Guy
Seinfeld

As for America's Top Model, Tyra Banks would be the only reason for me to watch. Despite all the cuties that strut their stuff, as far as I am concerned, Tyra is most beautiful of them all... and no I am not in love! :hitit:
