I've read the spoilers for S4 and all I have to say is it looks rather... disappointing. Jenny? Um... Well she is cute! There was an outrageously adorable & charismatic lesbian grease monkey on the show in one episode of S2 named "Dax." I heard the actress moonlights as a drag king, but is otherwise hardcore femme in her private life. They should get her back as a regular & dump some of the current cast, IMO. I heard Marina comes back for an ep or two in S4. *cheers loudly*

In all honesty, my interest in the show petered dramatically after the start of Season 3, but if they ever decide to do a hard or soft-core Hungarian edition of TLW starring Sandy as Marina, Sandra as Jenny or Carmen, and Sophie as a blonde butched out budapest version of Shane, I am soooo there! :icon_bigg

LOL, it's SO sad, because I LOVE Mia Kirschner...I've been a fan since before the L Word, but the character of Jenny makes me wanna hurl (almost as much as the Max character does). Jenny *does* have her great moments, and S3 Jenny wa a lot less annoying. It's just her writing, and the little scenarios they do...bores me to tears each time.

Aww. Poor Max! Is she furthering the storyline in any way? I mean, they're representing transgendered people, but is Max really furthering the story? How is she helping Jenny's growth?

I totally agree with you on TiBette. I didn't like Candace, but when I saw Bette beginning to break away, I secretly rejoiced!

As for Sarah :icon_drib Shahi, I hope they don't bring her back for the last episode! I wanna see Shane struggle with Carmen and Papi (who looks to be a lil cutie herself). Her writings are supposed to give us insight to her darkness, but I'm just not smart enough to figure it out. Other than to say, she's kinda phucked up. :icon_yes: I still like her though.

TLW airs current eps in western Canada, but eastern Canada (yours truly) has to wait the following year for current eps. So, like you I download them and then later on a friend copies them to dvd for me. I just can't wait so I have to download them.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I'd say sexy, but she's got awesome eyes and I think there are certain looks she can portray with her eyes that convey a lot more then the dialogue she says. Id heard about the American remake of Teachers and how bad it is. Teachers was really good (for the first couple of seasons but dropped in quality towards the end) but it was a very British show and I cant see how the producers could have thought it would work.
Another thing is Sarah Alexander the brit in it has an awful English accent in it aparently and if anyone has seen Smack the Pony or Green Wing she sounded fine do American tv producers put brit voices through a distorter or something Daphnie from Frasier is the worst attempt at a Lancashire accent which would be understandable if she was an american actress who had never been to Lancs but she is from Manchester and it should be her natural accent very wierd

I just watched the season premiere. It's not bad, but it's not the same without Dana or Carmen. Half of the time I was lost because I forgot what happened in season 3. Who's the girl that Jenny's with? When did they hook up?
I find myself hating Tina more and more with each episode. I was a fan of TiBette during the first season, and then everything got fucked up.
By the way, I find it amusing how they did a plug for ourchart.com. This Papi chick is going to have an interesting story line.

Max really annoys me too. I watched all of season 3, but have no idea what happened in season 1 and 2... I didn't have Showtime then. I will try to catch up some how. Season 4 looks like it will be really good, but I hope they really get rid of Max.

I haven't seen the 1st and 2nd season so I tried to figure out who the characters are when I watched the 3rd and now 4th season. Yeah...I can't figure out Papi either. She is basically competing with Shane to see who is the best at getting the most women, but Shane doesn't care, which is a good move on her part. I really don't care for Papi, she is cute and all, but her character doesn't do it for me.

It feels like they are doing drive by story lines this year, it's like they're rushing to get all the new characters introduced. I don't see the chemistry between Bette and Jodi. I'm bored with that storyline. But Bette and Nadia, now I was looking forward to that the moment I saw Nadia's legs!

Is Tina in the show? I didn't realize TLW was discrimminating with straight characters. Kidding! Did Laurel Holloman have another acting gig or something during the filming of the 4th season?

Lady V, I'm disappointed with Marina's re-appearance too. I thought there would be more to her being back. Did she run off with Jenny's French twat?

I loved Jenny's accent when dealing with Stacy the vagina wig Merkin. And I was secretly hoping for a Jenny (Debbie)/Lindsay romance cuz well, I just like Lindsay and Jenny needs a Lindsay in her life.

Oh, Angus. And I really liked, Angus! I wonder how Kit will react. Okay, I already know cuz I love spoilers, but I suspect to see it will have more of an impact.

I dunno if I'll be happy about Shane/Paige. I felt for Paige when Shane was explaining why she didn't want to hurt her. I still want my Sharmen back, but no reason to have a lil fun until Carmen comes back. Yeah, wishful thinking. But I get it, Paige is looking for more and Shane can't deliver atm. We'll see how long that lasts... LOL.

Poor, Helena. I feel for this girl.

Alice and Tasha. Interesting "almost" couple. I can identify with Tasha's guarded personality and I love my girls girly too. So it's nice to see that developing.

Max I'm on again, off again with this character. I'm just as confused as he is.

Phyllis. I dunno what to say about, Phyllis. It's a complicated situation for her.

I rarely pay attention to commercials, but it's the voice that got me. I was watching the Slice channel. Dunno if you guys get it, but it's such a girlie channel and I can't believe it's one of my favourite channels. *hangs head in utter shame*

I have no idea when the new season starts. I read what seemed to be very detailed spoilers for the first episode of season 5. I dunno, something has been missing from the show, oh that's right, it's CARMEN! I can't wait to see her in that new show of hers though. Oh my!

Are Papi and Tasha returning? I don't think I read anything about them in the first ep. There's going to be a Girl Bar opening across from The Planet, so Stacia, tell us if they got it right. I remember an episode from Fastlane, that featured the club. Is Girl Bar like that?
