Two thumbs up... way up. Acting is frequently sub par, but the actors, writers, producers, and directors have their hearts in the right place. Kinda like The Truth About Jane but with relatively happy, bouncing babydykes all the way through. I like this show a lot more than Sugar Rush, also about lesbian teens, which has a very unfortunate main character in the person of "Sugar." When does the new season start on SON?

i've actually seen the entire season 1 and i totally dig it. storyline wise, i actually like it better than the l word. :icon_roll

Hmmm, I just spent a good amount of time watching bootlegs--er--I mean episodes of SON, and honestly I wasn't all that impressed with what I saw. I mean, I love the relationship btwn Ash and Spence, but the acting (okay, Ash's acting) leaves a lot to be desired. I dunno, maybe I just need to give it more time before I form a true opinion. I think Madison is hilarious as the typical bitchy cheerleader, though, and I think Spencer is WAY cute!

Anyway, this has been driving me crazy...Ashley's (now dead) rocker dad...isn't that the guy from the 80's band Poison? CC...something (I think it's CC or DD...)

It especially struck me when he spoke, cause I remember the guitarist from Poison had a funny way of speaking.
