Steve Irwin's Wife Speaks Publicly First Time Since His Death

Terri, 42, recalled the terrible moment when she heard about the Crocodile Hunter's fatal accident. Steve died on September 4 when a stingray's barb pierced his heart as he was filming a wildlife documentary off of Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
The grieving widow said: "Steve's friend and manager John Stainton rang. He said, 'There's been a diving accident with Steve' and I thought, 'Don't say it, don't say it, don't say it' and he said it. He said those three words, 'Steve is dead'.
Terri admits she still hasn't fully come to terms with the fact that Steve is dead. She added in an interview with Good Morning America: "I'm still at the stage where I think he's going to come home. And it didn't really happen. I'm dealing with it all one minute at a time, sometimes an hour at a time, with great faith and great determination."
Terri admits she has found it difficult to cope since losing Steve but thanked the public for their "thoughts and prayers". Speaking of the support she received during the memorial service at Steve's Australia Zoo last week, she said: "I walked into the Crocoseum and I knew people would be missing Steve but the feelings of love and support from Australians was just overwhelming. He would have said, 'Crikey, mate, I can't believe this'."
Terri added: "There never has been before and never will be again another Steve Irwin. Every day he was my prince charming."

Manager Hopes Dustin Diamond Sex Tape Will Help Actor's Career

Agent David Hans Schmidt has acquired the rights and is currently seeking a distributor for “Saved By The Smell.”

Diamond's manager Roger Paul hopes the tape will raise his client's profile and help resurrect the acting career that collapsed when Saved By The Bell ended in 1997. He says, "I haven't seen the tape. I've heard rumors. Dustin has been trying to escape the Screech typecast. So this may help me get more bookings."
Diamond will welcome any royalties he gets from the tape - in June he launched a campaign to save his home from foreclosure, by selling autographed T-shirts on the internet.

LILONGWE (Reuters) - Pop diva Madonna adopted a young boy in Malawi on Wednesday and moved ahead with plans to fund a center for 1,000 orphans, many of whom lost parents to AIDS (http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=AIDS) in the impoverished African nation.
The "Material Girl" and an entourage arrived in the Malawian capital Lilongwe by private plane early on Wednesday and were quickly whisked away to an undisclosed location in a fleet of cars and trucks.
Government officials said the 48-year-old singer, already a mother of two, chose the one-year-old orphan from among 12 children specially chosen prior to her arrival in the country, which has legions of children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic.
"She asked us to identify boys only, which we have done after visiting four orphanages in Lilongwe," government spokeswoman Adrina Michiela said. Michiela said Madonna had wanted to adopt a girl but changed her mind two weeks ago.
It was unclear whether Madonna, for whom Malawi waived its ban on non-resident adoptions, would leave the country with her adopted baby or whether they would be reunited at a later date.
The trip has stoked high expectations in Malawi, a nation of 13 million people who are dependent on tobacco exports.
Madonna has said she plans to spend at least $3 million on programs to support orphans in Malawi and another $1 million to fund a documentary about the plight of children in the country.
She traveled to Mphandula, a village 20 km (12.5 miles) outside Lilongwe, where she is funding the construction of the Raising Malawi center to feed and educate around 1,000 orphans.
Residents in Mphandula, which has no electricity, were earlier busy rehearsing songs and preparing for her arrival.

A source directly connected with Evans and her divorce case tells TMZ that the country star will indeed appear for approximately six minutes on tonight's show, but her statement regarding her marriage is "very vanilla."

Evans filed for divorce last week claiming her husband cheated on her-- but that's just the beginning. Evans claims her husband has photographs of himself having sex with other women and has at least 100 nude photos of himself "in a state of arousal." Craig Schelske, Evan's husband, denies the allegations.

TMZ is told Evans will not talk about the allegation on tonight's "Dancing with the Stars." Indeed, Evans will not even reference her husband. The statement she will make centers around doing what's best for her three children.

According to the US Attorneys office, a warrant was issued for the actor last week after charges of failing to file income tax returns and conspiring to defraud the Internal Revenue Service.

The "White Men Can't Jump" star is accused of failing to pay nearly $12 million in taxes and failing to file tax returns for a period of six years. Florida officials claim that Snipes fraudulently claimed refunds in 1996 and 1997 on taxes already paid, and then failed to file returns between 1999 and 2006.

According to the eight count indictment obtained by TMZ, Snipes and two other defendants Eddie Ray Kahn and Douglas Rosile are accused of attempting "through deceit, craft, trickery, and dishonest means to make it appear as if Snipes had no liability for federal income taxes, when in fact defendant Snipes had such liability." Each count carries a maximum prison sentence of five years.

Of the three men accused in the indictment, Snipes' whereabouts are unknown, Kahn is believed to have fled to Panama and Rosile has turned himself in to authorities.

The US Attorney contacted people who they believed were Snipe's attorneys over the weekend, and were surprised when they learned those people no longer represented the star.

But, in the statement, Madonna charges, "We have gone about the adoption procedure according to the law, like anyone else who adopts a child. Reports to the contrary are totally inaccurate. The procedure includes an 18-month evaluation period after which time we hope to make this adoption permanent. This was not a decision or commitment that my family or I take lightly.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been released on bail after being arrested in London on suspicion of assault.

Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt said Campbell was arrested yesterday afternoon after a woman walked into a central London police station and made an allegation of assault.

Police arrested the 36-year-old model at a house in Westminster, central London. She was released on bail in the early hours of this morning.

The Sun newspaper reported that Campbell attacked her drug counsellor.
The paper claimed the therapist made a complaint after she was "scratched all over her face" by the catwalk model.

A spokesman for Campbell said he believed there had been a "misunderstanding".

He said: "We are sure it will all be sorted out when the police investigate."
Campbell is subject to to an ongoing assault case in New York.

She is alleged to have thrown a mobile phone at her housekeeper's head in a row at her Manhattan apartment.

She failed to turn up to a hearing in September and the case was adjourned until November 15.

I was actually saddened to hear about Reese and Ryan. Britney only *just* got a clue, huh? I wasn't surprised by either divorce...Reese and Ryan have sadly had troubles for a long time. I just saw Kevin Federline (who went from being called K Fed by the media to FedEx LOL) on the Tyra Banks show earlier this week. He was talking about Britney, and I could just tell something waddunt right...he was trying to cover up.

American actress Denise Richards hit two elderly women, one believed to be wheelchair-bound, with a flying laptop during a scuffle with paparazzi over photos, police said.

Richards, who is in the Vancouver suburb of Richmond shooting the film "Blonde and Blonder" with Canadian-born Pamela Anderson, "took exception to the paparazzi who had approached them" late Wednesday, Corporal Peter Thiessen told AFP.

"A laptop belonging to a photographer was thrown over an interior second floor balcony overlooking the main lobby of the hotel and hit two elderly ladies, aged 80 and 91, in the arm," he said.

"One was believed to be in a wheelchair. Both were sitting."

Neither woman was seriously injured, he said.

The paparazzi called police to complain about the damaged computer, but no charges were laid. "We're continuing to investigate," Thiessen said.
Richards and Anderson also "expressed concerns about photos of them on the laptop," Thiessen said.

Guns N' Roses canceled a performance in Portland, Maine this week after being told by state officials that the band could not drink on stage.

Inspectors from the state fire marshal's office gave the band the no-drinking order when they came to look over the pyrotechnics planned for Monday's scheduled concert at the Cumberland County Civic Center, said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Public Safety Department.
McCausland said the band had wanted to drink beer, wine and Jagermeister while performing. A couple of hours after being told that would violate state law, Guns N' Roses canceled its concert, he said.

After the cancellation, a band spokesperson blamed fire marshals for "making it impossible for the band to perform their show to the usual high standards that their fans deserve." The press release, however, did not give a specific reason for the pullout.

Band leader Axl Rose issued a statement through the Guns N' Roses Web site apologizing to fans in Maine.

"It was important for us to play there and it is a shame that what should have been a great night for all of us was not possible due to the actions of two people," said Rose, referring to the fire marshals.

"I agree with, and ultimately take responsibility for, the end decision not to jeopardize the safety of the fans, the crews, the bands and myself as a result of the methods of these particularly draconian authorities," Rose's statement said. "We hope to find another way to play for you in the future."

Jeff Austin, supervisor of liquor licensing and inspection for the state Department of Public Safety, said state law prohibits performers from drinking while on stage, and prohibits employees at establishments with liquor licenses from drinking on the job.

I think Rosie was TOTALLY out of line on this one. See, this is one thing I can't stand about some gay people...some of us tend to make every little thing about being gay or being homophobic. One of my supervisors is gay, and when I told him that I was as well, he said that he kind of thought I was--not by the way I look, but from the way I act sometimes. It's true...I will always, ALWAYS look at a hot girl, and have been known to stare w/o realizing that people are watching me stare! lol

And, you have no idea how many times, I've blurted out things like :icon_cens DAMN! I literally have no control over my mouth when it comes to the ladies. :D

I think I have a pretty good idea. I am a guy and we say and do things like that all the time. I work in a factory. One of our process technicians is female. Everytime she walks by I stare at her. Half the time I talk to her I flirt with her. When I get caught staring at her from other people and they make fun of me, I say things like, "I wonder if she does anal?" I just about lose it when she climbs into and bends over inside a press! Her ass saying, "You know you want me!!!" I have little control of my mouth when it comes to the ladies, either. :icon_help

At her peak, Chasey was without a doubt, one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen in my life. :icon_yes:

Unfortunately, she (admittedly) let drugs rule her life for a few years, and she's tried to come back, but not with too much luck. I mean, she still has many loyal fans (like me), but she will NEVER be as beautiful as she once was--to be frank--drugs killed her looks.

I'll never forget when I saw her in person at the AVN show 2 years ago--I wanted to cry and slap her at the same time. I couldn't even bring myself to stand in her line for an autograph.

Anyway, she's clean and healthy, and that's all that matters!

Fox has cancelled the O.C., and NBC has axed the Megan Mullaly Show. BIG surprise to both--NOT! I used to watch the O.C. off and on (well, when hottie Olivia Wilde played Misha Barton's girlfriend), but I knew the show would not last once they killed off Marissa (Misha) last year. Hollywood sucks sometimes--Misha wanted out of her contract to pursue a career in film. You can always tell how much animosity there is btwn the actor and tthe show by how the character departs. Killing a character usually implies some bad blood, which was definitely the case btwn Misha and the show's producers. But, she ended up getting the last laugh. At least newly split real-life O.C. couple Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson (aka Seth and Summer) don't have to worry about working together anymore. Isn't there a clause in contracts that say, "Thall shalt not bonk their co-star"? Hmm, guess not! lol

And, OMG, I LOVED Megan as Karen on Will and Grace, but her talkshow was HORRIBLE--what happened? She has such a big personality, but she was THE most boring talk-show host EVER. Good riddance to her show, I say!
