Hi Sandra,
I observed that unlike most other forums...this one doesnt have a set of rules or guidelines regarding making posts and things like that. I think it will really help u in the long run if u make a set...... u see the number of users to this site will keep increasing exponentially.....:icon_wink.
I would be glad to help out in any way possible to improve this wonderful site....:icon_yes:
I also wanted to know if mutual sharing of your videos(b/w members of this site only) is allowed ?. If yes can u create a forum for that so that we all can share the best of you we have.....
I never thought about writing out rules. I think it is obvious not to post copyrighted pictures and videos of any member area. I think this is probably all the rules have to be followed :)
But you might be right about creating a rules thread. Why not this one?
About sharing the site content. It is not allowed. o can talk about all the photos and videos but you cant post anything from the member area.
Thanks for this thread's idea ;)

Sharing premium content form members area is not allowed......thats obvious but what about videos other videos downloaded from rapidshare and alike ?The short answer is if it's copyrighted material from another site it shouldn't be posted anywhere without the copyright owners permission.

Absolutely copyright laws can and certainly will will get you into a lot of trouble if you violate them, in certain areas it's a quarter of a million dollar fine and five years in a federal pen and while we;re at it there also should also be some sort of rule against any type of profanity verbal type abuse or harassment used toward any members and that sort of thing as well. It's happened on another sites forum similuar to this one and it ended up being quite the mess.

Violated a copyright It's same of steal, absolutely right !!
Little bit stupid too because, you can steal car and you can have less problem !!!
In other way, you must know not because you say something under copyright you can be really protected ! Level of protection can be really different; If your work not officially recorded, the value of this one will not be the same one !
The copyright law not the same in all country too !!

That's quite True it isn't exactly the same but there are stiff penalties for those who decide to break them in the US its 250,000 fine and a five year stay in a federal prison I don't know if Europe is as harsh but one would think they would take offence and both the FBI and Interpol are conected at the hip where copyright is concerned. It's like they say carfeful you never know when Big Brother happens to be watching and he is generally most of the time. Besides if the material is Copywritten, you know because they tell you plain and clear as soon as you start to watch it.

You not under european law, cause many laws depend again by country cause the penalties are different and the copyright can be different by each country !!
When you speak about 250 000, you speak about what ?? Maximum ?
Cause someone win FLSA can't pay this amount before dead, no ?
For example in US you use © follow by date and name of photographer or production, because your works are registered !!
In France use the © It's only information way, but not because you don't see any copyright in picture wants to say that the pictures is not protected too !!!
Make difference between copyright and intellectual property !!
All pictures are under intellectual property, but not always under copyright !
P.S: Ohhh, I'm sorry, I'm not really on the subject !! LOL !!! I speak about laws and the subject is only rules under forum :icon_bigg

Hi All the True; yeah this is true we are gettin away from the subject a little aren't we :icon_lol:. If you want too see what I was referring too just pick up a movie which bares the FBI warning before the feature starts and see what it says. Then see if you see the same thing is present on Euro productions. The warning is about making a copy for what ever reason and it extends too everything either in whole or part that is on the feature either tape or DVD.
