All kind of music but I mostly listen to pop/rock, hiphop/rap and dance/techno. :icon_bigg

Me !!!
Heheehe, brutal music more often as often as possible !!
Black Metal and Death Metal stuff, same if I prefer occultism, pagan, darkest, viking and bloody story, I don't listen this style for that, but really for ambiant powerfull and fastest music !!
Mhhh, I don't listen sweet music ever ??
Sure, but from brutal bands with sideproject, or evolution about bands brutal to sweet music !!
Same if sweet music, the words not really sweet and exprim more sorrow !
In this time I love really listen Katatonia stuff, really best, I know this band since the debut and I have never deception !!

My favorites band by each style, I Can't speak about all cause I have many more:
Black Metal:
Marduk, Behemoth, Mayhem, Dark Throne !!
Death Metal:
Immolation, Krisiun, Morbid Angel, Vital Remains, Incantation, Malevolent Creation !!!
Sweet stuff:
Katatonia, Opeth !

For me It's never same things exprim sorrow or bad things comparing to loving words !!
I don't listen music with loving songs cause for me I think It's really really easy and I laughing really when I listen that what is true love etc ... from singers have more of one girl/boy friends and divorced and married or multi separated couple !!

Hmm that would be a very very long list from my side.

I listen to most styles.

Classic (mozart, bach, vivaldi, schubert--), Jazz, Pop, Musicals, chinese and irish music, blues,..
but my main CD collection is about Metal in nearly any kind of style.
As I play guitar in a Band myself I do listen to music in a different way

what I prefer can be described with 3 main trees:

a) it should be technical demanding (thats why I seldom listen to
mainstream music because that bores me very very fast (Rn'B for
example)
This demand I mostly can find at Metal and Classics in general

b) It has to drive me wild at hearing - going crazy ;-)
c) It has to reach some emotional parts of me (that's where maybe some average pop and sould numbers can be found ;-)

and over all: the situation has to be right! (but that is obvious)

All fit into one: Dream Theater!!!!! of course ;-)

I really love Iron Maiden and Metallica (with whom everything has begun in my live ;-) Guns'n Roses, Deep Purple, ...

Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Bolt Thrower, Dimmu Borgir, Death, Old Man's Child, Inflames, System Of A Down, Phantom Blue
Nightwish, After Forever, The Gathering, Lacrimosa, Dreams Of Sanity, Theatre Of Tragedy, Tristania, Galadriel,---
Anouk, Allanis Morrisette, Brian Adams, Lita Ford, Meredith Brook,
Dire Straits, Genesis, Madonna, Destinies' Child, Beatles, Robbie Williams ;-)

To mention som great singers in Classic! Anna Netrebko (the woman, the voice, the model ;-), Mirella Freni, Rolando Villazon, Thomas Hampson

When i'm at work i hear a local radio station, they play:

Rock, pop, the hitlist and so what you daily hear in the radio.
Classic is not so my thing.
When i'm at home i hear a other radio station, they play techno, trance that is more my music.
