We hated Paris most of the people we met there were horribly rude, once we got out of the city and started retracing my father’s route from the Normandy coast to Belgium it was totally different experience… The people we met were absolutely wonderful, we've kept in touch a few of the people we met in Carentan.

I'm not sure but from what I have heard from my mother, there's a good spot for surfing at Da Lat or Da Nang. It is in the mid-east of Vietnam. She told me that when she was a child, there are great waves over there. So I guess that through time, it should be the same thing. If you ever make it out to go to Vietnam, it's a spot for you to check out. :)
