 Firecat
I'm kind of in disbelief, to be honest. I haven't really slept, because my bed (and my hair) still smell like her perfume, making it impossible for me to concentrate on sleeping. But, I need to, because I have some trekking to do today. And, I have homework that I didn't get to last night.(sigh) You're killing me here... :icon_yes: Rita and I have been so busy lately we have had time for any naughtiness. :(

Yup, this was sort of double whammy too... Even though the party was at our house Rita and I were catering it so we had servers, a bartender and a chef to supervise and after party we had to supervise the clean up and packing of the equipment we'd rented, etc... it's makes for a really long day when your both the host and the cater. :icon_yes:

MaggieAh, was this like another dry run for when MaggieRita's gets up and running? :)

Sort of, we've been offering party planning and catering services for a couple of months... The restaurant is kind of an extension of that.

Hi everyone! :yippee:
How are you guys all doing? How was the weekend to you all? Enjoyed it? :D
Weekend was pretty good. Friday afternoon I went to the Puma sale which is in the next town over. They sell all their last-season clothing for about 75% off, so shirts, shorts, and skirts were $5, pants were $10, jackets and hoodies were $15, and shoes were $20. I'm proud that I only spent $55; I have friends who spent well over $100.
Saturday I went to my cousin's graduation. After that we went out to lunch, and then I went shopping with my mom. I studied a lot for my english AP exam whenever I had free time. I have pictures which I'll post when I'm less lazy.
Yesterday I spent all day studying for my calculus AP exam. Now I have to get back to studying :( .

I am in LOVE with this city! I still prefer L.A. for some reason, but just slightly. It is just beautiful here! I spent most of yesterday at the Wharf, walking, taking pics, watching the sea lions, shopping, eating, MORE walking, and I went to the Aquarium by the Bay (it was just "okay").
I did meet a fantastically beautiful girl last night, (Kerry), who is a dead ringer for Lindsay Lohan--sans the auburn hair--hers is dark brown, (with a tad bit of Jennifer Connelly thrown in). Hopefully she won't be too shy tonight to let me take some pics of her. Yes, Stacialove has hit SF big time, and after last night, Kerry has given me a new title: "the Queen". :boobies: :yippee: :horny:
I'll see her each day till I leave. :) Hopefully we'll check out more of the city. I so love it here.
Stacia, you're just a babe-magnet. :hearts: How do you do it?

Heavy metal is my favorite music, so that is what I do listen to most of the time. I like Ice-T, Ice Cube, N.W.A., Run-DMC, Tupac, Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, etc. As for the newer rap, 50 Cent, Eminem, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Missy Elliot, etc. I think is all total crap! I especially hate Eminem and Kayne West! Kanye is one of those pieces of shit that lets the fame go to his head. He truly believes he is better than everyone and absolutely FUCKING hate that! Like I said, I like old school rap. The newer rap and R&B I think is complete garbage. In fact, I find most mainstream music (I do stress the word MOST) to be completely mindless, superficial, unoriginal, and without integrity or talent of any kind. Of course, this is my opinion and I could be wrong. It has happened once before! :lol2:

That's very interesting because I share a little bit your idea. I prefer old school music too in terms of lyrics. As for the beats, it's 50/50 for me. There are some great old school beats as well as some great new beats. In old school, there was a strong message in the songs, an idea that the artists wanted to share, while now, it's just about throwing punchlines at each other and all that.
Also, since you're some kind of a rock lover, what's the difference between hard rock and metal?

Partly it's because of a cultural double standard... But honestly as a photographer I think it's much simpler, a woman's body is work of art... whereas a mans body is more utilitarian, it's sort of like comparing a pickup truck to Porsche 911. :)
It's funny to watch people at gallery showings, they look at the male nudes and make comments on the aesthetic but they study the female nudes... I think everyone, whether they're straight or gay appreciates the beauty of the female form.

There are a few distinctive differences:
1) In metal, the music is heavier and louder.
2) In many metal songs the beats are faster as well. In fact, in extreme metal such as death metal and especially grindcore, the drummer beats on the drums almost at the speed of machine gun fire, hence the name: blastbeats.
3) The vocals are another distinction. There is more singing and cleaner vocals in hard rock rather than metal or more extreme music. In the latter the vocalist more times than not is shouting, growling or even screaming the words, which makes understanding what is being sung difficult or sometimes even impossible without the lyric sheet and even then... good luck!
4) The subject matter discussed in the songs is another difference. In hard rock and everyday rock 'n' roll, more often than not, they talk about everyday situations, partying, or sometimes even social issues. Even though hard rock does dab into the political arena every now and then it is metal that focuses more on politics and even goes a step further into the social issues. Death metal is exactly that. It talks about death and does so in the goriest of details. To put it simply... death metal is a horror movie copied to CD... Murder 101...!!!
5) Hard rock is a lot more out in the open and in the mainstream than metal and especially extreme metal. The average person is more likely to listen to AC/DC, Kiss and Van Halen than listening to Pantera, Napalm Death or Circle of Dead Children.
I hope that helps.

Hey all,
I had a great day. I went to the gym and besides I took two classes I met me instructor girl who I had a long chat and after we both went to the sauna:icon_yes: Well, it obviously didnt happen as other people were in there as well but I think we are getting there...
Hey Sexy, ooh... that's good. I been wondering how things were going with her.
I didn't feel like going to the gym this morning so I went for a run instead, I did 6 miles. :icon_peac I should go grocery shopping but I'm suddenly feeling quite lazy. :)

Partly it's because of a cultural double standard... But honestly as a photographer I think it's much simpler, a woman's body is work or art... whereas a mans body is more utilitarian, it's sort of like comparing a pickup truck to Porsche 911. :)
It's funny to watch people at gallery showings, they look at the male nudes and make comments on the aesthetic but they study the female nudes... I think everyone, whether they're straight or gay appreciates the beauty of the female form.
A man's body is just there to get the job done. Nothing more, nothing less.
And along the highway of life it gathers scrapes, dings, dirt, mud, rust and loses some paint.

Elliptical machines are great, I can't stand the treadmill but I can do 45 minutes on an elliptical machine without even thinking about it. Swimming is my favorite way to exercise though; I usually swim for about 30 minutes twice a week... It's a great workout.

I definitely just bombed it. Out of all the things I studied, they had to ask me about polar coordinates, which we didn't exactly learn. Then there was a related rates question and Taylor series polynomials... ugh, it was not fun.
I left school early and stopped by Dunkin Donuts and picked up a bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese and a mango smoothie. I eat when I'm stressed.
Next up: English exam tomorrow. :(

Hey everyone,
I got back from San Francisco yesterday. The weather there was superb, then I come back to 95 freakin' degrees here in Vegas. I was ready to get back on the plane and go back. Speaking of planes, I thought I was going to die on our approach to Vegas. SERIOUS TURBULANCE. And, we kept dipping suddenly, and my stomach felt like it was in my damn throat. But, we made it, thank god.
Anyway, I had an absolute blast. Saturday: I was still getting over being sick, so I hung out all day. Tried to go out that night, but waited too long for a cab. Sunday: spent all day @ Fisherman's Wharf. Met Kerry that night and got my world rocked by the hottest girl on the planet. Monday: Went to Downtown SF (got REALLY lost), but made my way back. Tuesday: tried to go to Alcatraz, but they were sold out. Went to the Fish Market to have some Dungeness crab from a crab booth--delicious! Went to the Castro (gay) District...wasn't what I was expecting, but still cool. Wednesday: I had found a diner up the street, and had befriended the waiter, Jesse. I had some breakfast there again on Wednesday, and we hung out and watched Airplane. I had 2 hours to kill btwn my check out time and the time the shuttle came. BTW, the streets there are INSANE...very narrow, and VERY hilly, it's like being on a roller coaster. Sometimes I felt ill.
So, it was a great trip. Even though Kerry flaked out on me (she has issues with her sexuality that she is in no way ready to deal with), I'll never forget the night we spent together. There's soooo much to do there, and I'm already trying to think of when I can go back (and for much longer, if I can).

Hey everyone,
I got back from San Francisco yesterday......
......Speaking of planes, I thought I was going to die on our approach to Vegas. SERIOUS TURBULANCE......
......Sunday: spent all day @ Fisherman's Wharf. Met Kerry that night and got my world rocked by the hottest girl on the planet......
......Tuesday: tried to go to Alcatraz, but they were sold out......
......Even though Kerry flaked out on me (she has issues with her sexuality that she is in no way ready to deal with), I'll never forget the night we spent together......
Welcome back, sistuh...!!! :icon_hug: We always miss you when you are gone. I am happy to hear you had fun. Why is it there is always SERIOUS TURBULANCE over McCarran Airport? All 3 times I went to Las Vegas, we experienced turbulance just before landing at McCarran. I am awaiting my 4th visit to Vegas. I am planning on taking a vacation there again either the beginning of fall this year or beginning of spring next year. I think the year there was a fire at the Red Dragon was the last time I was there. So you got rocked eh? I always figured you would be the one doing the rocking? Did she like your voice? :lol2: Whenever you get a chance to see Alcatrazz, let me know. I have also wondered what it would look like, especially the dungeons. Sorry about Kerry. Hopefully soon, she will have her sexual preference in order. Again, welcome back! :icon_hug:

Hey everyone,
I got back from San Francisco yesterday. The weather there was superb, then I come back to 95 freakin' degrees here in Vegas. I was ready to get back on the plane and go back.
Awww, thanks, Patrick. :icon_hug: You like me! You really like me! You're right: I think there's some serious vortex air over the airport here...landing and taking off always seem to be rough.
Actually, I had no intention to go to Alcatraz, but I met this mother and daughter in the hotel, and they told me I HAD to go. I tried, at least. I'm hooked on the Bay Area...I'm looking at going back in November or December.
No worries about Kerry. I too flaked out many times when I was unsure of myself. She's only 25, so she has time to deal with...whatever. She went from telling me that she was straight to she wasn't sure all in about 10 mins. I feel for her, because I sensed that she has no one to talk to about what she's going through, and she allows herself the pleasure of being with a woman, only to punish herself afterwards. It's a vicious circle that many of us get caught in. But, to answer your questions, she did most of the rocking (since she was on top LOL), but I did my fair share, of course. And yes, she did in fact love my voice. She said it was "hot."

A "heads up" for you and any of your guy friends who may be regular Home Depot customers.
Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite traumatic. Don't be naive enough to think it couldn't happen to you.
Here's how the scam works:
Two seriously good-looking 18 or 19-year-old girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible
not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say "No" and instead ask you for a ride to another Home Depot. You agree and they get in the back seat. On the way, they start having sex with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs oral sex on you, while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen the 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, 17th, 20th, three times just yesterday, and very likely again this up coming weekend as soon as I can buy some more wallets.
Again - please beware!!
