Last week at work, we were listening to the radio, and they were talking about a young man in Germany who had been busted "several times" for operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. They said the last time he was nabbed, his blood alcohol level was 4 TIMES over the legal limit! They said they threw the book at him by taking away his vehicle. We were like, "What?! That's all they did? They didn't take him to jail and/or take away his license?"

What was his vehicle? An electric wheelchair!

I mean...come on, now.

Now, i found this in the news section on Yahoo.

Sparrow's death shocks a nation:

Dutch animal lovers are mourning a sparrow that was shot dead after it fluttered into
an exhibition hall and knocked over thousands of dominoes set up in preparation for a
world record attempt.

The sparrow will be commemorated in a live television broadcast of the domino-toppling
attempt later today, after a wave of national outrage at the shooting.
An exterminator shot the sparrow earlier this week, amid fears the bird could upset
more of the four million dominoes which staff had spent weeks preparing.

Dutch animal rights groups are outraged as sparrows are a protected species in the Netherlands.
Hundreds of condolence messages have been posted on a website for the sparrow
and has already attracted 200,000 hits.

Hey, I love animals as much as the next person, but I think they're going just a tad bit overboard on this one. But, surely, they could have come up with solution that didn't involve guns.

Which makes me think of something else...

When we lived in Greece (30 years ago), my sister found a little sparrow that had been wounded. It was all dirty, and she gave it a bath in the sink, and accidentally drowned it--she still feels badly about it today (although no where near the crying fit I remember she threw for 3 days back then). Well, thank God she doesn't live in the Netherlands...this just might push her over the edge! LOL

Call of nature saves man from garbage crusher:

BERLIN (Reuters) - A German man who fell asleep in a rubbish container after a bout
of heavy drinking had a lucky escape after he was tipped into the hydraulic press of
a garbage truck, police said on Wednesday.

The 47-year-old was only saved from being crushed when the truck's driver stopped
to urinate before continuing his round. He quickly switched off the press after he
heard swearing coming from the truck's interior.

"The man admitted drinking a lot of booze the previous night and climbing into the
container to seek refuge from the rain where he passed out," the police said in a statement.
The man, from Fischbachtal in southwestern Germany, suffered only a minor head injury
and mild shock.

THEY were jetting off for a holiday in Kingston, Jamaica, and the drinks flowed freely during the ten-hour flight.

Intoxicated, the couple, who were seated in business class, decided to submit their membership for the 'mile-high club' in one of the toilets.

But the British Airways flight staff became suspicious after hearing cries of passion from the loo, and the randy couple was ordered to stop and return to their seats.

Randy quickly turned into angry.

Stunned passengers watched in horror as the couple fought with flight staff.

A passenger told The Sun: 'They were asked politely to return to their seats but went ballistic. They were shouting vile abuse and spitting at staff.'

Another said: 'The captain tried to calm them down but they were just as abusive to him.'

And despite being restrained with plastic handcuffs, the pilot decided he had no choice but to divert the 777 jet to Bermuda.

The couple, who were booked on a two-week holiday, were held by police in Bermuda and put on a flight back to Gatwick yesterday.

Now the duo, from Luton, Beds, have been arrested and face being charged with air rage. They may also have to bear the 20,000 ($58,950) cost of diverting the plane.

I was just wondering if anyone else has heard about the riots in my hometown of Sydney, Australia? Apparently it's made the news in other countries, so i just wanted to know what countries they were.
The riots happened in the beachside suburb of Cronulla, (which is just 10-15 mins drive from my place)
so i know ALL about it.

It's all to do with lebanese gangs from out of town coming to Cronulla and causing trouble (harrassing people, threatening women on the beach with rape and violence. this has been going on for years now..) but the whole thing hit boiling point when a group of lebanese people bashed up 2 lifeguards on Cronulla beach. The locals said "enough is enough" and called ALL "white" aussies to launch a retaliation against it. Now it's erupted into a big riot with the lebanese gangs going round the streets slashing tyres, breaking car windows, barging into peoples homes and smashing stuff and bashing people cause they're "aussies".
I'm not a racist and i think most lebanese people are good folks. With the exception of a few bad eggs, no, let me re-phrase that, a few Assholes who think it's okay to show total dis-respect to anyone and come to the beach with the sole intent of causing trouble.
Like i said, it's been going on for years, and the police have been real soft about it. They should've done something about it years ago. Only now, when the locals are taking the law into their own hands, do they step in and say "back off! we've got this under control" and do something.
I'll stop there otherwise i'd be babbling on for ages.

Oh yeah… There’s nothing like a little karmic retribution.

We had similar thing happen locally about year or so ago. A guy had squirrels living in his chimney and figured he’d smoke them so he lights a fire in the fire places opens the damper and next he knows he’s got flaming squirrels running around his living room. Whoops!

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8 - The actress known as Tyla Wynn took to the stage late Saturday night to accept an X-rated-film award, the pornography version of an Oscar. The category was excellence in a multiperson sex scene.

Although thousands of people have watched Ms. Wynn perform intimate acts, she admitted to extreme nervousness when accepting her trophy, an opaque rectangle with the image of a man and woman intertwined.
"Speaking in front of people is hard," Ms. Wynn said, cradling her award, called the AVN.

Former porn star dies in car crash outside Las Vegas

ASSOCIATED PRESS

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A retired porn star still easing into a life outside the adult film business has died in a car crash on a dangerous stretch of highway south of Las Vegas.

Anna Hotop-Stout, 38, known to the adult film world as Anna Malle, died Wednesday after the car she was traveling in collided with a pickup truck while making a U-turn. She had not been wearing a seat belt, Nevada Highway Patrol officers said.

In her 15-year career, Hotop-Stout made more than 300 films, about one-third of them with her husband, retired porn actor Hank Armstrong.

She was born near Havana, Ill., raised in Fort Madison, Iowa, and began working in the porn industry in California in the early 1990s, Armstrong said Friday. Her first film "Here Comes Anna Malle" was released in 1994. One of her favorites was 1995's "Naked Desert," her husband said.

Hotop-Stout had retired from the film business a year ago and was working at a Bloomingdale's wedding registry in Las Vegas, Armstrong said.

"She didn't want to be known as the old chick that had to work," he said. "She wanted a normal life again."

The Las Vegas resident was a passenger in a 2005 Dodge Stratus that was making a U-turn on state Route 160 when it turned into the path of a 1985 Chevrolet pickup truck, the Nevada Highway Patrol said. She was taken to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where she died.

The accident occurred on 50-mile stretch of state Route 160 that runs to Pahrump. Also known as Blue Diamond Road, the mostly two-lane highway has been the scene of 11 accident-related deaths in the past six months.

This is very sad because she was one of the pornstars that I like from the begining back in 1996.. I was 16 when I started watch porn and there was a scene that pulls the "feet fetish triger" for me... she was the first pornstar that make hot with her feets.

LAS VEGAS - Adult performer Anna Malle died in a car accident Wednesday. She was 37. Malle was not driving the car, and the accident was not alcohol-related.
The Las Vegas Review Journal reported that Malle suffered fatal injuries in a crash on Route 160 just west of Rainbow Boulevard around 11:44 a.m. The report went on to say that Malle was a passenger in a westbound Dodge Stratus that appeared to be attempting a U-turn when it entered the eastbound traffic lane and was broadsided by a pickup.
As was reported by Malle’s Website Wednesday, "…with deep sadness I have to announce that Anna has passed away today in an auto accident. She will be missed by all and has always enjoyed her life to the fullest. I'm sure that her memory will always be with her fans and friends. For all of you please say a prayer to her and let her know that she was loved.”

Born and raised in Iowa, Malle got her start in the adult industry with Tim Lake and Homegrown Video, in 1994. The black-haired starlet quickly established herself as an intense, intelligent performer with exotic looks, and went on to perform and direct in over 300 titles. Malle also acted as an editor for Fox magazine for six years.

Malle is survived by her husband, performer Hank Armstrong, who was not involved in the accident. Armstrong told AVN.com that Anna “loved life. She was a kind and generous person. She was great to her fans and overall, just a really great person.”

Anyway...I'm very sad to hear this news; Anna was a true and rare beauty, and a great performer! :(

I saw some really wierd things while I was a cop but this take the cake...

From WOAI in San Antonio:

Flying Cow Leaves Two Police Cars in Flames

Talk about a wild night near Seguin. A cow came flying out of its trailer, sent DPS and police scrambling, and left two police cars going up in flames.

"It was almost hard to believe," said Detective Sergeant Maureen Watson. She has been in law enforcement for 15 years, and says she "never had a day like this. I mean the best way to characterize this it, is it's bizarre. It's really really strange."

It's strange because it started out with a truck towing cattle, and ended in fire.

Watson told News 4 WOAI, "We believe the gate of the cattle trailer came open, and the cow, for lack of a better phrase spilled out onto the Interstate. It was pretty chaotic for a while."

Several cars hit some of the cows. One cow died. DPS troopers called for backup.

That's when one officer was nearly run down by a speeding truck, carrying two illegal immigrants inside.

Seguin Police were out looking for those illegal immigrants. They parked their cars in the hot grass, burning two of them including that brand new 2006 Crown Victoria. Watson said, "Well, all of a sudden, another officer who'd arrived on the scene, alerted the sergeant that there was a fire."
Everything inside was destroyed, including tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment designed for the patrol cars.

"You start off with kind of a bizarre accident with these cows spilling onto the interstate. That leads to other accidents, that leads to a car chase, that leads to a foot chase," Watson recalls.

The two mexican immigrants, ages 21 and 23, are in custody for illegally entering the country and evading arrest. Watson says they have replacement cars for now, but hope the city council will vote to get new cars soon.

Elderly lovers stopped on dangerous Italy joy ride
Thu Mar 16, 2006 06:41 PM GMT

ROME (Reuters) - The zig-zagging car gave them away. When Italian police pulled over the vehicle, they found a completely naked 70-year-old woman who had been trying to have sex with the driver -- 11 years her junior.

After demanding the joy-riding couple get dressed, the police tested the semi-nude male motorist for drunk driving.

"He was three times over the legal (blood-alcohol) limit," said police commander Angelo D'Anardo in the city of Cologno al Serio, northeast of Milan.

"We assume they must have been drinking at lunch and then things got out of control."

Asked if the couple were married, D'Anardo said he wasn't sure -- but somehow doubted it.

"Married people wouldn't probably do anything like this."

Sex-Starved Husband Goes on Strike
Friday , March 31, 2006

When the going gets tough, the tough camp out on their roof with a lawn chair and a sign and declare they’re on strike against their wife.
At least, that’s what James Wilson of Redford, Mich., did.

Wilson says his wife, Valentina, is ignoring him and spoiling the kids by letting them stay in the couples’ quarters at night, KEYE-TV reports.
“I’m going on strike against my wife because she refuses to remove the children from our bedroom,” Wilson said.

Though he admits that Valentina is a wonderful mother, he says wants more … ahem … alone time with her.

“I’m speaking on behalf of all of the husbands in this nation that suffer in silence. I plan to be a voice for those husbands that men, we all want that time alone with [our] wives, that’s extremely important,” Wilson said.
But Wilson knew that a little peaceful protest on his roof wouldn’t exactly motivate the masses to relate to his plight.

He’s started a blog, husbandonstrike.com (http://husbandonstrike.com), where people can go and sign a petition requesting that his wife immediately boot the babies from the boudoir.

But don’t expect Valentina to cry any sweet tears of sympathy for her husband any time soon.

“You know what? He’ll live,” she said.

Strange News Man Gets $218 Trillion Phone Bill :icon_yike :icon_yike :icon_yike

From Associated Press
April 10, 2006 6:37 PM EDT
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - A Malaysian man said he nearly fainted when he recieved a $218 trillion phone bill and was ordered to pay up within 10 days or face prosecution, a newspaper reported Monday.
Yahaya Wahab said he disconnected his late father's phone line in January after he died and settled the 84 ringgit ($23) bill, the New Straits Times reported.
But Telekom Malaysia later sent him a 806,400,000,000,000.01 ringgit ($218 trillion) bill for recent telephone calls along with orders to settle within 10 days or face legal proceedings, the newspaper reported.
It wasn't clear whether the bill was a mistake, or if Yahaya's father's phone line was used illegally after after his death.
"If the company wants to seek legal action as mentioned in the letter, I'm ready to face it," the paper quoted Yahaya as saying. "In fact, I can't wait to face it," he said.
Yahaya, from northern Kedah state, received a notice from the company's debt-collection agency in early April, the paper said. Yahaya said he nearly fainted when he saw the new bill.
Government-linked Telekom Malaysia Bhd. is the country's largest telecommunications company.
A company official, who declined to be identified as she was not authorized to speak to the media, said Telekom Malaysia was aware of Yahaya's case and would address it. She did not provide further details.

Oregon Man Survives 12 Nails to the Head
By SARAH SKIDMORE (Associated Press Writer)
From Associated Press
April 21, 2006 9:44 PM EDT
PORTLAND, Ore. - An Oregon man who went to a hospital complaining of a headache was found to have 12 nails embedded in his skull from a suicide attempt with a nail gun, doctors say.
Surgeons removed the nails with needle-nosed pliers and a drill, and the man survived with no serious lasting effects, according to a report on the medical oddity in the current issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery.
The unidentified 33-year-old man was suicidal and high on methamphetamine last year when he fired the nails - up to 2 inches in length - into his head one by one.
The nails were not visible when doctors first examined the man in the emergency room of an unidentified Oregon hospital a day later. Doctors were surprised when X-rays revealed six nails clustered between his right eye and ear, two below his right ear and four on the left side of his head.
The study did not say how long the nails were, and a hospital spokeswoman refused to release that information. A photo published in the study suggests the nails range from 1 1/2 to 2 inches long.
No one before is known to have survived after intentionally firing so many foreign objects into the head, according to the report, written by Dr. G. Alexander West, the neurosurgeon who oversaw the treatment of the patient.
The man at first told doctors he had had a nail gun accident, but later admitted it was a suicide attempt.
The nails came close to major blood vessels and the brain stem but did not pierce them. The patient was in remarkably good condition when he was transferred to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, where the nails were removed.
The patient was later transferred to psychiatric care and stayed under court order for nearly a month before leaving against doctors' orders.

NEW YORK — These bookshelves came with a really natural finish.
Oakland, Calif., cops arrested a carpenter who likes to practice his craft as nature intended after a client returned home early and busted the craftsman building bookcases in his birthday suit.

Percy Honniball was charged with misdemeanor indecent exposure for the incident, the Associated Press reports.

But Honniball insists his penchant for working in the nude isn't for pleasure. He says that when he's building things in the buff he has a greater range of motion — and it prevents him from soiling his clothes.
"In certain situations such as demolitions where you are smashing rock you want to be clothed and protected because this rock can harm you," he said.

And it seems he speaks from experience. Honniball has been caught on the job naked three times in the last six years.

Police said he apologized to the client for the scandalous surprise. The client paid him for his work — deducting $200 to have his locks changed — and sent Honniball packing.

Whoops... Sucks to be this guy... From WPVI-TV Philadelphia: (http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=bizarre&id=4176684)

DENVER, N.C. (AP) - May 16, 2006 - Stevie Spencer picked the wrong spot to snuff out his smoke.

Fire officials in Denver, North Carolina, say Spencer burned down his house after dropping his butt into a bowl of paint thinner.

Spencer, who was taking a break from painting, says he forgot he had put the chemical in the bowl. He says he thought it was water.

Spencer got his wife out of the house and tried to put out the fire with a garden house.

But Fire Chief Jay Flynn says the fire had spread too much for firefighters to save the house.

70,000 Beer Cans Found in Ogden Townhouse
May 17th, 2006 @ 9:38pm
John Hollenhorst reporting

A seemingly unbelievable mess discovered last year in an Ogden townhouse has suddenly become an Internet legend.

It's all TRUE!

You know how some people, after they use something, just can't bear to throw it away. That might make sense if it's magazines or clothes. But what if it's empty beer cans? In astounding numbers?

When property manager Ryan Froerer got a call from a realtor last year to check on a townhouse, he knew something was up.

Full story and photos (http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=268346).

Steve had an amazing and enthusiastic personality. I still wouldn't go anywhere near those exotic animals he so loved, but he almost humanized them with the respect he showed and taught us, for them.

My God, I was just reading about S.I.'s untimely demise! That is so sad, I really loved that guy--I thought he was a little off his rocker with some of the stuff he'd do, but that just showed his love for creatures that most of us would find revolting (and be mortified of).

It's so strange...a creature not nearly as dangerous as a croc or a shark was the one to kill Steve. I feel for his wife and 2 little ones; they must be devastated. :(

Ahh, and millions of men rejoiced. Then, cursed when they found out that Jenna is now (reportedly) dating newly separated (from Carmen Electra) musician Dave Navarro.

I'm actually sad to hear of JJ's impending divorce; I know she really wants kids, and they seemed to be really happy. I wonder if Jenna finally realized that her hubby was um...well...actually, I won't say. But, if you've ever seen him or heard him talk, you'll know exactly what I'm (not) saying.

ClubJenna is a giant in the porn biz, and Jay directed ALL of CJ's films. I wonder if they'll keep a working relationship? And, of course, fan around the world are wondering if Jenna will do the often typical "I'm single, so I'm going to fuck every man I can find onscreen!" :icon_roll :icon_roll

POSTED: 2:57 p.m. EDT, September 29, 2006

WICHITA, Kansas (CNN) -- Air Force Maj. Nicole Malachowski says she always has wanted to fly -- and fly fast. She got her private pilot's certificate before she got her driver's license, and she's been soaring ever since.

When Congress changed the rules in the early 1990s, allowing women to fly combat missions, her future was sealed. Now at 31, Malachowski is the newest member of the Air Force's Thunderbird demonstration squadron -- the first woman on any U.S. military high performance jet team.

~SOS~ Yeah, I couldn't stomach a lot of those pics, but I think it's important to see just what's going on over there. I mean, I'm all for the control of the animal population, but going into people's homes, and killing their dogs to ensure they only have one is not the answer. Instead, mandatory spaying and neutering should be used. But, then, what about the thousands of strays on the street? I don't know...

Either way, it's very sad. :(

I found this on the Yahoo! news:

Ten Ways to Know Its Time to Quit Your Job

1. You start to dread Monday as soon as you leave work on Friday.

2. It becomes more and more difficult to get up for work each day, and tardiness becomes a way of life.

3. You cannot muster enthusiasm for anything related to work -- other than your paycheck.

4. You spend most of your time complaining to colleagues or about your colleagues.

5. You act defensive and even hostile in company meetings when there's little cause for it.

6. You interact less and less with co-workers, shutting yourself away in your office and avoiding opportunities to socialize.

7. You've used up all your sick, personal, and vacation days -- and the year isn't even half over.

8. You're constantly putting off until tomorrow what you could (and should) do today. When you do actually commit to doing your work, you feel resentful.

9. You're bitter about the company's success or that of a co-worker.

10. You have no professional goals related to your job, and you have a hard time even making some up at your obligatory performance review.

LOL.......For my C.R.S. job, I made 9 of those...1 more to go.

Doctor finds spiders in boy's ear

Sun May 6, 6:18 PM ET

These guys weren't exactly Snap, Crackle and Pop. What began as a faint popping in a 9-year-old boy's ear — "like Rice Krispies" — ended up as an earache, and the doctor's diagnosis was that a pair of spiders made a home in the ear.
"They were walking on my eardrums," Jesse Courtney said.
One of the spiders was still alive after the doctor flushed the fourth-grader's left ear canal. His mother, Diane Courtney, said her son insisted he kept hearing a faint popping in his ear — "like Rice Krispies."
Dr. David Irvine said it looked like the boy had something in his ear when he examined him.
When he irrigated the ear, the first spider came out, dead. The other spider took a second dousing before it emerged, still alive. Both were about the size of a pencil eraser.
Jesse was given the spiders — now both dead — as a souvenir. He has taken them to school and his mother has taken them to work.
"It was real interesting, 'cause, two spiders in my ear — what next?" Jesse said.

California law allows a prisoner to be credited one day for every four days served... As long as she doesn't get into any fights or piss off the guards she should be out something like 18 days. :icon_roll

She should consider herself lucky... The driving on a suspended license charge alone carries a 30 day mandatory minimum sentence that can not be suspended or reduced. She'd probably do her time in a minimum security rehab facility rather than a jail though.

From the AP (June 20, 2007):

Police: Naked Couple May Have Died From Sex

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Police on Wednesday were investigating how a naked couple fell four stories from the roof of a downtown office building to their deaths.

The man and woman were found near the sidewalk by a passing cab driver around 5 a.m. Wednesday. One person was pronounced dead at scene and the other died a short time later at a local hospital.

Clothing was discovered on the roof, leading authorities to suspect the couple, in their early 20s, may have been having sex. Their identities were not released.

"It's too early to rule out anything," Columbia police Sgt. Florence McCants said, but McCants said a preliminary investigation didn't show any sign of foul play.

The roof of the building is pyramid-shaped.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Bill Barnes says he was scratching off a losing $2 lottery ticket inside a gas station when he felt a hand slip into his front-left pants pocket, where he had $300 in cash.

He immediately grabbed the person's wrist with his left hand and started throwing punches with his right, landing six or seven blows before a store manager intervened.

"I guess he thought I was an easy mark," Barnes, 72, told The Grand Rapids Press for a story Tuesday.

He's anything but an easy mark: Barnes served in the Marines, was an accomplished Golden Gloves boxer and retired after 20 years as an iron worker.

Jesse Daniel Rae, the 27-year-old Newaygo County man accused of trying to pick Barnes' pocket, was arraigned Monday in Rockford District Court on one count of unarmed robbery, a 15-year felony.

This time men did not have any role ...
This is not the result of a scientific experiment, but this proves how nature can surprise us all.

What do you get if you cross a zebra with a horse?

Aparently it's one of these..

Reported by Antimusic.com:

When you create what you try to pass off as "music" by "sampling" real music created by real musicians are you in a position of calling someone else a thief for doing the same damn thing? That's the basis for this lil' bit of irony. One rapper is accusing another rapper of stealing the idea of using "borrowed" soul song samples. A bit like ripping off a candy bar from someone that shoplifted it. Only hip-hop.

Major label newcomer Mims is up in arms with Kanye West, accusing the egomaniac rapper of stealing his hip-hop sound which is basically stealing real musician's old work, speeding it up, turning on a drum machine and talking sh*t over it. But Mims claims he stole soul samples and speeded them up long before Kanye made major cash by stealing soul samples and speeded them up and talking nonsense over them.
Mims claims that he introduced this formula with his debut album. "I recorded my album five years ago so I did it first," the indignant rapper said according to Contact Music. Of course, it wouldn't take very much imagination to come up with that concept on your own but in another bit of irony Entertainment Weekly said of his debut album that Mim's "style recalls Jay-Z's mid-'90s blinged-out phase". So does that mean that Kanye really ripped off Jay-Z?

PORTLAND — Snake collector Matt Wilkinson of Portland grabbed a 20-inch rattler from the highway near Maupin, and three weeks later, to impress his ex-girlfriend, he stuck the serpent in his mouth.

He was soon near death with a swollen tongue that blocked his throat. Trauma doctors at the Oregon Health and Science University saved his life.

Why was he trying to impress his ex, i say his EX-girlfriend? (shit, i sounded like Foghorn Leghorn there..) There's a reason she's his ex-girlfriend..

But we have to remember that nothing impresses the women like a man with a snake in his mouth.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A burglar in Montgomery chose the wrong family to mess with, literally. Adrian and Tiffany McKinnon returned home on Tuesday after a week away to find that thieves had emptied almost everything the family of five owned, Tiffany McKinnon said through tears.

"Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home," she said.

Adrian McKinnon sent his wife to see her sister while he inspected the piles left behind. As he walked back into the sunroom, a man walked through the back door straight into him, Tiffany McKinnon told the Montgomery Advertiser in a story Thursday.

"My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home," she said. "And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband's hat sitting right on his head."

Adrian McKinnon held the suspect, 33-year-old Tajuan Bullock, at gunpoint and told him to sit on the floor until he decided what to do.

"We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor," Tiffany McKinnon said.

When police arrived, Bullock complained about being forced to clean the home at gunpoint.

"This man had the nerve to raise sand about us making him clean up the mess he made in my house," she said. "The police officer laughed at him when he complained and said anybody else would have shot him dead."

Capt. Huey Thornton, a police spokesman, said police arrested Bullock at 2 p.m. Tuesday on burglary and theft charges. He was being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $30,000 bond.

"The victims were lucky in this case to be able to catch the suspect in the act and hold him until police arrived," Thornton said.

How about this shit. The cleaning staff at my daughters school are stealing her jackets. They have stolen a Gap jacket and an Addidas jacket and her vice principal tells me that my child should keep up with them. I guess she should never take them off all day long. And this is a very nice school. I guess I should be flattered that they like how I dress her but damn she needs a jacket too.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A man was arrested after a government agent allegedly found him in an office building restroom lying next to an inflatable, anatomically correct doll with his pants down. Craig S. McCullough, 47, was charged Wednesday with indecent exposure, a misdemeanor.

The criminal complaint against McCullough says he was discovered in the public restroom by an agent for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, which is one of the federal agencies that rents space in the Hach office building.

McCullough was arrested, and Cedar Rapids police took him to the Linn County jail. His arraignment was scheduled later Friday, police spokeswoman Cristy Hamblin said.

Another agency has an outstanding warrant against McCullough, but the reason for that warrant was not immediately clear, Hamblin said. He was still in jail Friday morning and it wasn't clear if he had an attorney.

McCullough's criminal record includes a 2004 conviction for burglarizing Just For Me bridal boutique. Shortly after the burglary, police officers found McCullough in a nearby alley, carrying a mannequin wearing a bridal dress.

Mother sent stripper to schoolboy's classroom as birthday treat
By PAUL SIMS

Most parents like to pull out all the stops to make a child's 16th birthday as memorable as possible.

But having a female stripper surprise your son in front of his teacher in class would not feature on many wish-lists.

Yet that's what happened when one woman booked a special performer for her son's big day.

She stipulated that the surprise take place in drama class - and even asked the teacher to film it so the family could see the boy's reaction.
But - thanks to what has been put down as a booking error - a female stripper turned up in place of the gorilla-suited man the unnamed mother had apparently asked for.

Revenge of the lug nut: Kitsap County man gets hurt when he blasts car wheel with shotgun

The Associated Press

SOUTHWORTH, Kitsap County — A man trying to loosen a stubborn lug nut blasted the wheel with a 12-gauge shotgun, injuring himself badly in both legs, Kitsap County sheriff's deputies said.

The 66-year-old man had been repairing a Lincoln Continental for two weeks at his home northwest of Southworth and east of Port Orchard and had gotten all but one of the lug nuts off the right rear wheel before getting frustrated Saturday afternoon, Deputy Scott Wilson said.

"He's bound and determined to get that lug nut off," Wilson said.

From about arm's length, the man fired the shotgun at the wheel and was "peppered" in both legs with shot and other debris, with some injuries as high on his body as his chin, according to a sheriff's office report.

"Nobody else was there and he wasn't intoxicated," Wilson said.

South Kitsap Fire and Rescue personnel treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Tacoma General Hospital with injuries Wilson described as "severe but not life-threatening."

I was absolutely devasted when I heard the news of Benazir Bhutto's assassination. I first learned of her about 15 years ago, while watching an interview with her on an American news program. I was awe-struck by her beauty, bravery, poise, confidence, ambition and intelligence. She was a beloved, rare and true leader in a country which faces so much turmoil. She wanted to bring democracy to Pakistan, and wanted the voices of the people to be heard. She whole-heartedly knew the risks and possible implications of going back to Pakistan to run to office, but she stood vigilant, refusing to be frightened by more attacks on her life.

She was murdered for one reason--she would have won the election on January 8th.

May Ms. Bhutto forever rest in peace.

Sex Toy Triggers Bomb Scare in Sweden
Jan 16, 2008 2:47 PM AP

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - A Swedish bomb squad called out to disarm a suspicious package on Wednesday did not find a ticking bomb. But they did find a vibrating sex toy.

A janitor alerted police after he found the package in a garage of an apartment building in Goteborg, the country's second-largest city, police spokesman Jan Strannegard said.

The package was humming and vibrating suspiciously, so police took no chances and sent out a team of explosives experts. After having cordoned off the area, they opened the package with bomb disposal equipment, only to find the battery-operated device inside.

"The package was vibrating when the janitor found it, but I think it had sort of died out by the time it was disarmed," Strannegard said.

I guess the moral of this story is take the batteries out of your toys before traveling. :rofl2:

Briton in UFO report says aliens stole dog

LONDON (Reuters) - The abduction of a dog stood out among 135 reports of UFO incidents received by the Ministry of Defence last year. Flaming objects, bright lights behaving erratically, odd shapes flying in the sky and even a village blackout following silently exploding lights are also among the reports of unidentified flying objects from all over the country, according to details released on Friday under freedom of information rules.

But the report from Wales of the dog abduction grabs attention.
"The witness saw spaceships and then said that one of them abducted his dog, car and tent when he and some friends were out camping," reads the report received on Jan 3 this year.
In a report from central England in December last year the witness reported a giant craft shining a light into a rear window before shooting off, while another in June counted 15,000 lights in the sky.

So let me get this straight. Out of everything the 'aliens' could have done, they chose to steal a dog, a car and a tent?

They said he was doing laps up and down the street for about half an hour, then he lost it.
And that thing he hit is a nasty little piece of work called a stobie pole.
It's a concrete slab with metal beams on each side. A majority of them have been replaced with regular wooden telegraph poles cause they caused too many fatalities, but there are still some around.

Like a hot knife through butter..

Crash??? That was a forced landing not a crash. There's an old axiom that say any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. :)

In all seriousness that was one hell of a piece of flying, getting that aircraft down in the water, intact was nothing short of amazing! That flight crew deserves major Bravo Zulus and Sierra Hotels!

I got this from my cousin:

Subject: 809 Area Code

I received this from a friend of mine.......

We actually received a call last week from the 809 area code. The woman said 'Hey,
this is Karen . Sorry I missed you--get back to us quickly. I have something important to tell you.' Then she repeated a phone number beginning with 809 We didn't respond.
Then this week, we received the following
e-mail: Do Not DIAL AREA CODE
809, 284, AND 876

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PROVIDED TO US BY AT&T. DON'T EVER DIAL AREA CODE 809

This one is being distributed all over the US . This is pretty scary, especially given the way they try to get you to call.

Be sure you read this and pass it on.

They get you to call by telling you that it is information about a family member who has been ill or to tell you someone has been arrested, died, or to let you know you have won a wonderful prize, etc. In each case, you are told to call the
809 number right away.. Since there
are so many new area codes these days, people unknowingly return these calls.

If you call from the U.S. , you will apparently be charged $2425 per-minute.

Or, you'll get a long recorded message. The point is, they will try to keep you on the phone as long as possible to increase the charges.
WHY IT WORKS:

The 809 area code is located in the Dominican Republic. The charges afterward can become a real nightmare. That's because you did actually make the call. If you complain, both your local phone company and your long distance carrier will not want to get involved and will most likely tell you that they are simply providing the billing for the foreign company. You'll end up dealing with a foreign company that argues they have done nothing wrong.

Please forward this entire message to your friends, family and colleagues to help them become aware of this scam.
AT&T VERIFIES IT'S TRUE :

That "warning" has been circulating in form or another since 1996... It's based on fact but over the years the facts have become some what distorted.

The bottom line is this 809, 284, and 876 are legitimate area codes for the Dominican Republic and British Virgin Islands... Not every telephone number in those area codes are part of the scam. If you know who you are calling, you don't need to completely avoid dialing those area codes.

He meant well. He did get a call last week though, apparently, so I guess he felt it relevant.

I needed to research maybe, but there again I am new here in the U.S. So, no big worries then. ;)

Her mom was too distracted to tell her what color she wanted the walls so my friend took the initiative to go to the store and pick out the color. From the Politico (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0509/22007.html):

Sure, it may be a publicity stunt – but if so it's working.

Next week, porn star Stormy Daniels launches her "Listening Tour" across Louisiana. The star of such films as "Operation Desert Stormy" will appear in Baton Rouge on Tuesday and New Orleans on Wednesday in order to "meet with Louisiana men and women and listen to the issues and concerns they struggle with everyday" and gauge a potential run against Sen. David Vitter (R.).

The untraditional path into politics for Daniels, a 29-year-old with no party affiliation at present, began in February when fans launched the website DraftStormy.com to encourage a run.
I hope she runs... and wins. She's probably got more commonsense in her little finger than current crop of idiots... Combined!

Dog alerts local family to fire, dies in blaze (http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/dayton-news/dog-alerts-local-family-to-fire-dies-in-blaze-159051.html)

PIQUA — Glenda Moss saved Jeter after an early life of abuse.
Jeter paid her back Thursday, June 11.

The five-year-old Great Pyrenees is credited with saving the lives of Moss and her son David, 19, by alerting them to an early morning fire at their Harney Street home in Piqua.

Smelling smoke and hearing the crackle of fire, mother and son fled the house around 6 a.m. with Jeter following. For an unknown reason, the 120-pound dog went back into the house and perished.

A couple of years ago my father bought a pellet stove and had it in the backroom. The stove had backed up one night and started to set on fire. My Dalmation started to bark her ass off while my other dog didn't make a peep. I went in the back room and saw the smoke and some flames. THANKFULLY the dog was there :icon_hug: otherwise shit really would have hit the fan.

Say It Ain't So??? Kodak discontinuing Kodachrome (http://www.examiner.com/a-2081166~Sorry__Paul_Simon__Kodak_s_taking_Kodachro me_away.html):

Sorry, Paul Simon, Kodak is taking your Kodachrome away.

The Eastman Kodak Co. (EK, News) announced Monday it's retiring its oldest film stock because of declining customer demand in an increasingly digital age.

The world's first commercially successful color film, immortalized in song by Simon, spent 74 years in Kodak's portfolio. It enjoyed its heyday in the 1950s and '60s but in recent years has nudged closer to obscurity: Sales of Kodachrome are now just a fraction of 1 percent of the company's total sales of still-picture films, and only one commercial lab in the world still processes it.

Those numbers and the unique materials needed to make it convinced Kodak to call its most recent manufacturing run the last, said Mary Jane Hellyar, the outgoing president of Kodak's Film, Photofinishing and Entertainment Group.
Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away!

I haven't shoot with Kodachrome in several years but I've taken hundreds of photos with it over the years... Everything from still lifes to nudes, it's one my favorite films and it's sad see it go.

Hmmmmm.... I'm not sure I trust TMZ but this make more sense than anything else I've read about Tiger's car accident:

Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren -- according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident.

Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol -- that should happen this afternoon. But we're told Tiger had a conversation Friday -- with a non-law enforcement type -- detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We're told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We're told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV -- but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club. Read the rest... (http://www.tmz.com/2009/11/28/tiger-woods-elin-nordegren-fight-accident-suv-lacerations/)

Heh, it's not up to him, the medical examiner will determine whether or not an autopsy should be preformed... Odds there will be an autopsy preformed, probably today or tomorrow, but it'll several weeks for the tox results to come back. So far the coroners office is saying her death to appears to be from natural causes. Reports say there were no signs of trauma and the cops say there were no illegal drugs in the house... Just prescription meds (she was supposed being treated for flu like symptoms).

I wounder if her anorexia played a part.

Dude:

A MAN had to have his penis cut free by SEVEN firefighters after he got it stuck in a steel PIPE.

The crew used a METAL GRINDER for the delicate 30-minute operation, after doctors at Southampton General Hospital tried to release him without success.

The medics failed because the restricted blood flow had caused the man to become aroused.

A crew from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service used the four-and-a-half-inch grinder to cut the pipe free on Tuesday morning.
Afterwards, the patient was given an anaesthetic and although his willy was left bruised and swollen it was otherwise unharmed.

In the first season of the show "Rescue Me" on FX...they had a
scene that was something similar to that situation.
(..the show is about FDNY firefighters.)

I forget the exact setup...but one of the firemen was using some
sort of metal cockring while with some lady friend of his.
I think that the guy might have been using an erection aid
of some sort(..Viagra etc.)...and the cockring became stuck
on his unit and he was unable to get it off etc...and his throbbing
erection was starting to become very painful....he needed to be able
to get that cockring off of his unit ASAP.

(...I think that he may have been opposed to the idea of going to
see a doctor who probably would have used needles to draw
out the extra unwanted blood from the guy's unit.)
http://www.sandrashinelive.com/forum/image.php?u=2544&dateline=1202643283

So he called up one of his firefighters buddies..and the guy brought over
a huge metal cutting grinder..the type used by the FDNY to cut open
large metal pull down storefront security gates/doors.
The device has a spinning blade about 18" wide...it's a big LOUD..not
very exact cutting one. (..an angle grinder.)

It's a really funny scene when the guy starts up the big grinder
and off camera moves in to start with trying to cut the cockring
off of the guy's painful unit.
There was a flood of flying sparks coming from the guy's crotch
area...and there's some screaming etc.

That scene was a very amusing scene....as I remember it to be.
(...the show has elements of both a comedy and a drama.)

I know that they did it all for the humor of the scene etc....but
for a cockring...I think that some nice simple bolt cutters would have
done the job quite nicely...and without all of those hot..but very
funny flying sparks.
It's TV...they wanted the amusing sounds and visuals.

Oh wow!

I read crotchless and the ceiling fan going full blast...and I didn't like the sound of where that story might be headed.
(..or maybe even "beheaded" given the circumstances of the
potential circumcision.)

That's an interesting and amusing story...certanly a good
one for the policemen/firefighers to share and tell.

Hmmm...a crotchless Batman costume....I am suddenly intrigued. ;):bee:

Q: How many firefighters does it take to free a guy's penis from a steel pipe?

A: Seven. 6 to stand there laughing and 1 to operate the angle grinder.

Only 5,000???

Men think about sex 5,000 times a year

Men think about sex almost 5,000 times a year – but only get down to doing it 104 times, a new study has found.

Researchers found the average male turns their thoughts to sexual intercourse 13 times a day – a total of 4,745 times every year.
Almost a third even admitted it is often the first thing they think about when they wake up in the mornings.

In comparison, women think about sex just five times day – or 1,825 times a year.

But when it comes to actually having sex, men have to make do with it an average of just twice a week, or 104 times a year.

A spokesman for market research company www.Onepoll.com said: ''Men are well-known for thinking about sex a lot, but to find out exactly how often is staggering.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6950545/Men-think-about-sex-5000-times-a-year.html (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6950545/Men-think-about-sex-5000-times-a-year.html)

Call me crazy, but I think this survey is bullshit... I mean I think about sex a hell of a lot more than 5 times a day! Oh well, I guess that why I'm a pervert!

Wow, apparently Australia bureaucrats hate small boobs:

Australian censor board demands large-breasted porn-stars (http://www.boingboing.net/2010/01/28/australian-censor-bo.html)

A reader writes, "Australian Classification Board (ACB) is now banning depictions of small-breasted women in adult publications and films. They banned mainstream pornography from showing women with A-cup breasts, apparently on the grounds that they encourage paedophilia, and in spite of the fact this is a normal breast size for many adult women. Presumably small breasted women taking photographs of themselves will now be guilty of creating simulated child pornography, to say nothing of the message this sends to women with modestly sized chests or those who favour them. Australia has also banned pornographic depictions of female ejaculation, a normal orgasmic sexual response in many women, with censors branding it as 'abhorrent.'"
