Favorite foods?

There are 3 things that if I was ever told I was allergic to, I'd want someone to kill me right then and there (LOL):

1. Seafood. I loooove seafood, always have, especially crablegs! I can seriously thrown down on some crablegs. I also love shrimp, lobster, calamari, all kinds of fish (and please, spare me the jokes lol)--except catfish--it's the only fish I don't like. I also love scallops! Now, that's some goood eatin'!

2. Chocolate.

3. Soda.

Which brings me to a list of my fave. soft drinks:

1. Pepsi
2. Vanilla Coke
3. Dr. Pepper
4. Sprite
5. Ginger Ale

Crablegs do indeed rule. But, my 3 favs are:

1. Italian - All pasta. I prefer the Southern style, with no tomato sauce. Butter & cheese sauces, garlic...YUM.

2. Chinese - Mandarin style. Fried rice, egg foo young, chow mein, dumplings, paper wrapped chicken...YUM

3. Coffee - I cannot function without a good cup 'o joe.

Yes, Italian and Chinese definitely rule!

Greek is my favorite--actually, any kind of Mediterrenean dishes.

Also, Ethiopian is pretty good too. They eat this wonderful bread called "injara." It kinda tastes like sourdough, and it has a weird feel...kinda sticky and spongy! I always have to play with it before I eat it. LOL! That didn't sound too good, did it?! :eek:

One of my ex's took me to an Ethiopian restaurant back home in CO the night she broke up with me LOL.

Now my favourite foods.. in no particular order..
Chocolate, chicken, meat, pizza, hamburgers, meat pies, pasta, chinese, pretty much everything that falls into the 'junk food' category that's bad for you and gets banned from school tuck shops for making kids fat. (Well i'm not fat) Being from Australia, i also love a good BBQ.
Oh, i'm now addicted to Sweet n Sour Vege Chips too.

Fav soft drinks:
Coke/Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lift lemon, Creaming Soda.
I could go on and on with more fav foods, but i don't want to. Lol.

Well my favourite foods prob will be:

1) Ecuatorian Rice [is a rice with chop chicken and chop vegetables]
2) Carne Asada [I dont know how to spell it in english but is a steak fried with coal, its typical from Argentina and Uruguay]
3) Pizza [just cheese or with pinaple, hawian is the name I believe]
4) Tacos [Tortilla with chop tomatoe and onion, some oregano, lemon and salt with meat]
5) French Fries [You know this ones, is like the ones that are on sale on Mcdonalds but I like more the ones that my mother make at home]

Soft drinks:
1) Coffee
2) Coke
3) Pepsi
4) 7UP
5) Lemon juice [home made]

Code Red is supposed to be some kind of red pop. Live Wire is supposed to be some kind of orange pop. Pitch Black was some flavor they came out with at Halloween. God knows what that is supposed to be. You know what kind I think they should come out with next? Agent Orange!!! I would like to see how many people would be stupid enough to drink that?!?!

Yumm.... food, just as I contemplate what's for dinner. Tonight it's going to be rainbow trout in almonds & butter with a side of rice and some veggies.

That said, I'm a big fan of both food and cooking and a few years ago developed a crippling addiction to chocolate :)

Fav snacks & desserts:
-chocolate or mocha/coffee cheesecake
-mix of cashews, chocolate coated almonds, almonds, raisins & dried banana
-dill pickle chips
-Ben & Jerry's - this is nuts, chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate, anything with chocolate :)

Fav meals I like to cook:
-my secret shrimp recipe - shrimp in a hot pepper / peanut / chive sauce
-shrimp or chicken fettucini alfredo
-prime rib
-spicy meatballs (veal/beef/pork+parmesan, basil, spices) basted for 4 hours in a red wine tomato sauce
-stir fry of any kind
-bow-tie pasta in a garlic/oil sauce with hot peppers, rapini and hot sausages
-shrimp dumplings
-won ton soup or chicken noodle with mounds of green onion
-chicken breasts stuffed with basil & goat cheese wrapped in proscuitto

And if you want to try the absolute wildest salad I've ever had, try this:
-mixed baby greens
-a light raspberry vinagrette dressing
-julienned red/yellow or orange peppers
-cranberries
-toasted pine nuts

In the oven, toast some crushed cashews and heat some goat cheese. When ready, put a circle of goat cheese in the center of the salad and cover it with the warmed cashews.

I can't explain how friggen awesome this salad is. It's a play of salty with sweet, warm with cold, a great mix of flavors. Give it a go, you'll be making it again & again!

I don't really care for melons (get your minds out of the gutter lol). Canteloupe, honeydew, watermelon...I can do without.

Can't really think of anything else right now that I REALLY dislike.
